Terrible builders, pray to the gods that you are not unlucky enough to have them allocated to your insurance claim. It's been two years and repairs are still not completed, we can't go home and all they do is lie and make false promises. They haven't taken care of our property and further damage has occurred, they don't want to take accountability for their negligence and we are stuck with them.fml

We have been waiting for Bay Building to complete the repairs on our house for nearly two years. Months have gone by with little to no work being done. They are unresponsive to calls and emails. The work they have done to this point is sloppy at best. They keep making promises for when the work will be completed. I’ve lost track of how many times we’ve been told “you’ll definitely be home by this date”. Those promised time frames have come and gone and we are still no closer to moving home. If I could give a zero star rating I would. Avoid at all costs.

Some guy named Francis who smelt like pee and a Ashtray did nothing at home. I caught home taking a dump in my garden. Never again

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Mathew Chwah and Edy Elagha Team including Jacques Bou-Rached for the work they did about the repairs to my kitchen.
I'm very happy with the results of the repairs. Mathew kept me informed of the progress, excellent communication, prompt reliable service, and friendly tradesmen.

Bay Builders were assigned to us by our insurance company. They arrived the very next day and assessed the damage. It is really difficult to get hold of them and let the work start. But they came and discussed everything with us.completed the work on time and was amazing with any questions I had. They reply to your messages and discuss everything with you, which is really good.

Be warned worse company I have ever deal with. They have zero experience in dealing with doing a proper evaluation of any damage.

Alex and his team were phenomenal. Can’t thank him enough. Great workmanship replacing cornice, part of ceiling, repainting 2 whole ceilings. The preparation work was great. Covered all my furniture, moved what they had to, took down paintings. Replaced everything and swept and cleaned area. Arrived when they said they would, kept me uptodate with progress. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

If NRMA refers them to you strongly decline and go with a different company they are a scams. Had to call and get my lawyer involved as they tell NRMA a crazy price to take profits for them selves. And made a half day job take over 6 months still not done btw. Do not deal with them.

Very happy with the work carried out on my mother's house, builder kept me up to date at all times and the work carried out was of top quality, highly recommend them

Like many others we were allocated Bay Building Group by our insurer NRMA after lodging a claim.
I have never made an insurance claim on my home previously and now know that if I ever do again and Bay Building Group are assigned, I will request someone else.
The builder/assessor who attended seemed incompetent and focused on irrelevant factors, provided no insight on the process and ultimately put forward the suggestion to deny our claim based on something that did not even exist.
Based on the reviews I am reading, clearly the incompetency was not an isolated incident.

So far having a terrible experience, I was informed by my insurance company some one will get back to attend to a temporary fence repair to my property, this was last week, no response, when you try to call, having gone through the promps you get cut off, insurance company followed up afew times and were told someone will response asap, no one so far, stay clear from this company under any circumstances, do not go any where them

But no bilder would touch the job under 6000.00.

You never answered the 1st time or the 12th time whats going to change.

The workers were punctual.
Workmanship was excellent.
Informed me what they were doing, how long it would take etc.
They were efficient.
Excellent quality.
Cleaned up when the work was completed.
I recommend them to everyone who needs good workmanship with a friendly smile.

Bay Building Group were assigned by my strata company to complete a floor replacement after the storms in February. Here we are in November and the work is still not even approved by the insurance company due to many "misunderstandings" in their own words. They have sent several people out to confirm the required works and measurements yet rooms have been missed and variations and still boucing around with their internal teams. Calling them just returns finger pointing to others and only when you follow up their claims with the 3rd parties you find out everyone is waiting on Bay. Looking forward to Chrismtas on concreate. My advise is to steer clear of this company if you have any choice!

This group is beyond useless. You can see from their review of a pathetic 2.7 stars.note the 1 star I gave is a minimum requirement.and it is beyond generous. I would not use these guys if their services were free. We have tried to deal with Adam Cucuruto and Daniel Dous for months.and the company has had the job for over a year and half. Words cannot describe how unprofessional I believe these guys are. They refuse to return phone calls refuse to reply to emails. Given these guys are literally impossible to deal with, final options is to take it up and lodge a complaint with the ACCC.

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. TO Bay Building Services, we have reference number so don't respond with generic simple polite reply asking for it.

Like another 1-star reviewer below, my insurer assigned Bay Building to remedy storm damage to my home. From the moment they got involved, it was a year-long comedy of errors. I had not one single interaction with Bay Building that was positive or resulted in a positive outcome, and because they seem unable to get it right the first few times, I had many. If you have the absolute misfortune of interacting with Bay Building, document EVERYTHING, and be prepared to complain to AFCA and Work Safety; this is an organisation that needs to be dragged kicking and screaming to do anything of value for the client. Godspeed.

We used contractors from Bay building group for some insurance work we needed. Gyprock replacement and painting mainly. Everyone we came in contact with, from the administration to the actual tradesmen doing the work were as professional as you could wish for. The work was performed as contracted on time and of good quality. Everything was put back in place and all mess cleaned up and waste removed. Follow up calls were made by management to ensure all was correct.
We would happily recommend The Bay Building group.

Hopeless. No idea why NRMA using these clowns as a recommended partner. Disorganised and useless communicators. That's a minus star by the way.

Andy & his co-worker did a fantastic job. Everything was as clean & organised as possible, kept me informed with minimal fuss. Final repair looks great & fits perfectly with the rest of the house. Daniel was a great co coordinator as well.
