Bang Bang.you excel!
Firstly, our absolutely lovely attendant Atlanta made the night! She was refreshingly engaging and kindly took a few pics of us on our night out which we loved, thank you Atlanta!
I had the Roti Chanai, Crispy Master Stock Duck (scoop up some of that glaze, it is out of this world), Dry Red Curry, Cucumber Salad and Coconut Rice. These are all so wonderfully presented and the flavours are varied but work so well, it is an incredible dining experience.
Thank you!

Fantastic restaurant. Ordered the banquet - excellent value and every dish was to die for. Just about the best meal I have ever eaten!

Loved the vibe. Loved every dish. Great service. We got the prawn toast, pork belly (not usually a fan but can’t stop thinking about this dish!), chicken curry and coconut rice.

I enjoyed every aspect of the experience here. The atmosphere is friendly and energetic, the service is attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The food is brilliant. Every dish we had was sensational. Everyone loved the special of the day, kingfish wings barbecued and with XO sauce as pick of the dishes! Alas it had ingredients that I am allergic to and had to miss out on that, so I will say that I loved the Korean chicken from the "little bangs". It was on point for everything that Korean chicken should be, but too often isn't. It was crunchy, spicy, sweet and succulent. The last thing I'll say is about the cocktails. Try to get a seat where you can watch them being made. It's almost as much fun to watch them being made as it was to drink them.

After walking past for a year or so, we finally checked out Bang Bang for dinner the other night.
Overall it was a pretty average experience. Not terrible. But not memorable.
The menu sounded exciting (like you might expect from Chin Chin or similar), but the dishes didn’t deliver. The food quality was about equivalent to what you’d expect from your local suburban Thai restaurant.
The glammed up interior, cocktails and DJ give the expectation of something more, but it’s kind of like an average local Thai restaurant was just dropped inside a night club.
I found the DJ too loud anyway and night club like interior wasn’t really in keeping with the laidback Byron vibe.
We had a lovely waitress who was really friendly, but the maitre’d and the door staff had attitude and were relatively abrupt and unfriendly.
Wasn’t terrible. But I won’t be rushing back. Byron deserves better.

Absolutely amazing food. Probably one of the best restaurants I've been too and I cannot rave about this place enough. We got the large banquet and every single dish was amazing. The massaman was the best I've had. The Morton bay bug buns were DELIGHTFUL. The king fish, super tasty. My husband said the short rib was the best he's had. Even the dessert, which we rarely have, was devine. I would literally go back every night if I could. Super happy and definitely one of the most delightful dinners I've had. 100/10 from me. *** We have been a second time this week. Review stands, absolutely fantastic. We ordered separate meals this time instead of the banquet and every single thing was amazing. The Korean popcorn chicken was delightful, perfect spice and crunch. The soft shell crab buns were amazing and the sweet Riesling was a welcome surprise. The roti bread sauce was punching flavour. We have been to some of the best restaurants in Australia including Attica, Vue de Monde, Lume, among others and this is number two behind Attica. An absolute feast and now I must recline.
