I had been suffering from persistent dull pain in my back for years due to scoliosis. I called Balanced for Life desperate for a change after putting it off for so long, sick of feeling like an old lady despite being 39. My husband also encouraged me as he had been receiving successful treatment there for a martial arts injury.

After speaking with Susan to make an appt, I instantly felt better. Her genuine compassion and kindness made me feel hopeful. I can’t believe what a difference their personalised programme has made me feel, not only physically (which has been incredible), but emotionally. I’ve visited Dr Kara on two occasions to help me resolve my lower back and neck problems. She took the time to listen and understand what was happening, explained what she was going to do very clearly and also recommended actions for me to do between my visits. My headaches have eased and I have greater mobility in my lower back.

I spent years going to physios to treat my ongoing headaches but no one provided such immediate and consistent relief like Dr Kara did. I was honestly skeptical going to a chiro initially but figured I had nothing to lose and Dr Kara has been brilliant this whole journey. Not only has she got my headaches down to a manageable level and the least-frequently occurring of my adult life, but she's also kept my body in alignment during my third pregnancy whilst I've also been walking in a moon boot for 8 weeks. My husband and I attended the Balanced birth workshop. Couldn't recommend it enough! Lindy and the team were fantastic and full of knowledge. Even though this isn't our first baby, there was so much to learn.

I've been going to this clinic for several years now. All the staff are friendly and professional, and my chiropractor Dr Kara is always happy to see me for my regular appointments. I go for chronic back and neck pain, and I never leave without feeling better.
Affordable prices as well are a plus.

I was seeing Kara when I was pregnant & continue to see her postpartum.
My son has frequent checkups with Kara & he loves it. Kara was able to detect early signs of lip, tongue & cheek tie which has now been corrected. This has prevented my son from having a speech impediment & breathing problems & also saved me spending thousands of dollars down the track in speech therapy & orthodontic work.
I love that Kara helped me set goals, helped me achieve them & now I only go in for maintenance.

Amazing team! Recently attended a workshop hosted by the team, preparing new parents for labour and birth. The session was very helpful and thorough. Would definitely recommend it.

Great workshop! Hubby and I attended the complimentary Balanced Birth workshop which we found to be incredibly valuable. This is bub #3 for us and we learnt so many new tips and tricks that we wish we had known for our last 2 babies. We left feeling even more prepared for our next experience. Highly recommend.

Honestly I could kiss my medical team right now!?
Yesterday my Crohn's Disease flare up delivered to me the worst hip pain I've ever experienced (diagnosed as Sacroiliitis) which made it so difficult to walk or move. I was limping/shuffling around so slowly with a 9/10 pain score, and my Endone (oxycodone) did nothing to touch the surface.
I made an emergency appointment with my chiropractor Dr Kara from Balanced for Life Chiropractic Castle Hill who adjusted me so gently, then set me up with MLS laser therapy on my hip joint. ‍️
Today I met up with my GP Dr Kobika (such a beautiful, young and empathetic health professional) from Kellyville Village Medical Centre who prescribed me with some multi-modal pain relief, and I had another laser therapy session at Balanced for Life.
I walked away from my final appointment today with no limp and almost a spring in my step thanks to appropriate pain management and action against this round of inflammation! Pain levels were around a 6/10 when I woke up this morning, and are currently sitting at a 2/10!
Yesterday I had some very low thoughts about how I could end my pain, and today I'm almost in tears with how good I'm feeling within the space of 24 hours!
I am very very picky with the medical professionals I surround myself with, and have never been prouder of their efforts.

Dr Lindy did an outstanding job providing treatment for my reoccurring pinched nerve neck injury with associated elbow and shoulder pain. She is very friendly and passionate, with a genuine heart for helping her patient improve. She made sure I understood the treatment plan, goals, and expectations before committing to it. After several sessions, I improved significantly and can now extend my arm with almost no pain. The treatment plan was very effective, a combination of chiropractic adjustments, laser, and exercise.

I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who has posture and nerve problems.

I had severe nerve damage on my lower spine which Dr. Kara treated for me brilliantly. The injury affected my ability to walk properly and after 3 sessions over a period of 2 weeks with Dr. Kara I recovered fully. Balance for Life is by far the most professional and holistic Chiropractic treatment I have ever had (I had seen many Chiropractors in the past) and incorporates passive laser treatment, adjustments and coached physiotherapy exercises (which in itself is rare in most Chiropractic services). I would highly recommend Balance for Life and Dr. Kara.

The team at Balanced for Life are super friendly and very invested in getting to the bottom of what is causing pain issues. Dr Kara has been so patient and attentive to my needs which has been a refreshing experience.
