I went into the Apple store to buy a new IPad. I’m a total Luddite when it comes to technology but I was very fortunate to have a smart lady called Janet to assist me. She was extremely knowledgeable and did not talk down to me! She explained the pluses and minuses of all the IPads and I ended up buying a large one as well as a pen and cover! Highly recommend this store and Janet, in particular.

Very busy store. The staff are great, very helpful and friendly. Lots of staff to ask questions to. Ask them about any apple product and see if you can stump them.

Having visited the store with a technical issue I had to book an appointment for someone to even have a quick look at the device. A week later I went back for the appointment, after waiting for more than 30 minutes after the “appointment” time someone took the device away and came back and said we don’t know what the problem is call Apple Support. WOW that is hopeless. Apple-Bondi Junction: All fluff, t-shirts and standing around, no substance - the city store is much better.

Abeer from Bondi Junction was super helpful and patient. She helped me resolve an issue I was dealing with for a while and made sure to understand what it was exactly that I needed - really making an effort to pull through for me. Great service compared to the Sydney Apple Store where I find they are a lot more pushy on sales and a lot less people focused there.

Friendly staff and great products but every time I go in I have to fight for attention to get served and then wait at least 30 min (currently writing this after waiting for 45 min on a wait list just to purchase something - I know what I want, just take my money guys). Plenty of staff managing wait lists but no one able to simply process what I need to buy. Love the whole concept of these stores (without checkout counters etc) but it ain’t working so well right now

Went in their briefly and got a call so I decided to leave the store, as I was leaving a woman with black hair (didn't catch name) stopped me and immediately accused me of stealing an iPhone and that she "saw me do it". Was really rude then called security on me and as I emptied out my pockets and bag, obviously without an iPhone in there, she didn't believe me. She then went over to where i was, saw the phone "i stole" was literally right there and proceeded to just walk off. No acknowledgement or apology anything.

I would like to apologies for being rude to a manage in this store and for mildly swearing in shock. There is not any real excuse for this and it's not at all typical of me in any retail environment. Perhaps I can suggest in future, to avoid frustrating and appalling customers people should be told on arrival that if they want to BUY anything, they have to make this crystal clear to the first person they talk to otherwise they will have to hang about until they get to the top of the queue. Even if you know exactly what you want and don't need any advise. Also perhaps suggest to staff that if a customer wants help to buy an accessory for an older model of your tech, try not to look horrified at this insult to all things shiny and new. Many of us have many items of Apple tech. I personally have two top of the range macs, the latest phone and the very latest ipad. Asking about an accessory for tech you no longer support could at least involve some expression of regret.

Was helped by the incredibly kind and caring Mirella (I hope that’s how you spell it). I was swept off the floor immediately as I started looking lost and Mirella helped me with my purchase of my Apple Tv 4k. Provided great insight of how to set it up, the inclusions of the warranty and apple care. Was overall super helpful and went above and beyond in building rapport. Left the store with a smile:) Thanks Apple Bondi!

Bought a new iPhone Pro 13 25 days ago. The cable was defective. The end was bent straight out of the box and couldn’t be used. Went on holiday to Byron didn’t worry about it and went back today to get the cable replaced thinking with Apples reputation it wouldn’t be a problem.

Arrived at the store and explained the problem and was told to wait. Waited for 20 minutes with no further explanation l, with plenty of staff available. Finally my wife got frustrated waiting and went to speak to someone. After a few minutes I went over and the manager was there and had already managed to get her temper up. I re explained the issue emphasizing we were not there to get a free cable, we can easily afford to buy a new one and have spent about $6000 on new apple products in the last month. The manager then went on to say he recognized me and I was in his store earlier and was very angry. Unbelievable he has mistaken me for another customer and already decided I’m up here to con him out of a cable.

After all this attitude I had enough already, left him this defective cable and wished him a good day. To be frank as a hotel general manager in 5 star hotels for many years, I have seen bad hospitality before, but never this poor. With all the other bad reviews here, I hope apple can do something to improve.

“DON”T GO TO APPLE THE SHARKS WILL EAT YOU ALIVE”
I’ll never go to any apple store again. When arriving I said I would like to look at the phones. From the moment I walked in i felt like I was being hunted by a pack of sharks. I had 4 people ask what I was looking for. I kindly said I was just looking for the moment. One sales man thought it was a good idea to then follow me to the phones. Due to Covid I asked him to please just let me look. His response was we don’t allow browsing and asked me to leave. This would have to be the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I would have bought a phone today but never again will I put myself in that situation. I then tried to call 4 times to speak with a manager and no one answered.

Apple Bondi wanted me to make an appointment to buy a mobile phone case. And didn’t have an appointment for two hours.

So I walked 100 meters into Westfield and bought one there 5 minutes later.

Can’t shop without an appointment. They make you stand in line, go inside, inspect credentials etc, only to tell you no shopping without an appointment. The man told me I should have checked the website. If I want to buy online I will. Rude. Inefficient. Horrible experience

Attended a Genius Bar appointment which was anything but. Was told to wait in the proximity and return in 30-40 minutes. Got a call back 2 hours later to say that there is nothing they can do and I must mail it via the post office for it to be attended in their warehouse. Notwithstanding the fact that Apple is a branded network, when asked why they are unable to mail that iPad to their back office, they assured me that the retail store works independently and entirely removed from their tech support estate. Not to mention multiple factually incorrect advice given by the shop assistant who rang me - who only double checked when I quoted what’s written on their website. Completely bonkers and worst representation of the brand.

Apple Bondi Junction -

Horrible service, servers are arrogant, not nice at all, the managers there are arrogant and giving the feeling that the high demand to apple services makes them treat people not nicely

Vodafone or any apple shops are much better.

I got laptop from here which has serious problem everytime …my laptop get totally off automatically it’s 10 th day after purchase and when I told them that replace this, It’s apple policy.but, they told no we can’t. I said “ok, but what if I had problem afterwards”. Manager told me that if it happens again we will fix it or changed it. After 45 days. I faced the same problem and manager just change their commitment and told me that we have to change the processor and you have to pay for it. It was MacBook Pro 16 1TB. And, it was really horrible service by apple bondi. Didn’t recommend anyone to do purchase from this store. People here are rude, technicians don’t know how to do their job and no resolution by staff or manager. I don’t know how staff here get job? Because they didn’t seem to be educated. They don’t know how to behave and how to help customers. Pathetic service and pathetic place

I would like to leave a review for the Apple Bondi Store. I have been a patron of the this store since 2013 -2014. I have purchased 4 - 5 computers from this store. In addition I have purchased iPhones ever since the Iphone 3 every year. Periodically, I have encountered some very poor service. My experience of the young female manager who manages this store must be good at her job but to me she appears condescending, and patronising.

Every time I have had a serious customer service concern she has failed to assist me. This time I got bad advice from the Apple Chat team and she refused to honour what they promised me would occur. I overreacted and got very cranky with her and ended up losing some credit I was entitled to receive, because I just walked away. Apple keeps getting my money but I will NEVER attend the Apple Bondi store they just suck and they provide terrible customer service. I hate Apple Bondi.
