Apple Bondi reviews
71 I recently visited the Apple Store in Bondi junction and I must say, the service I received was absolutely terrible. I walked into the store and waited for a staggering 15 minutes before anyone even noticed me. It was incredibly frustrating to be completely ignored.
I was given the AirPods without the packaging or a bag to put them in. When I asked the staff for a bag he said that he can get me one but it will take a while to go to the back of the store. Overall Terrible service, very disappointing.
I’ve had the pleasure today to get assistance from a mandarin speaking staff (if I did not see the name tag wrong his name is Bill) IPhone trade-in process was a bit complex to me but he was so helpful, knowledgeable and patient. Thank you again Bill!
Went to the store driving 50mins from home. The service was great. Booked an Iphone 15plus earlier over phone and got it instantly once reached the phone. Very good customer service as per my experience.
No free iphone very INCONSIDEARATE! DO NOT VISIT APPLE CARE IS A SCAM I BROKE IPAD AND THEY NOT REPAIR
Terrible service rude staff went in to buy a iPhone the staff just looked at us and engorged us totally we won’t be back there
Visited Bondi store this morning with iPhone charging problem. Amazing set up and super friendly/helpful in resolving problem. Made a smooth start to the day
Went to collect iPhone 15 pro max today after I bought it online, A guy with white short hair & glasses have no idea about the procedures. I collect my new phone after 2 hours! He did mistakes in each step & always return to his boss, I wonder why Apple hire such people.
Max is on the road scaring to go home by side with the 6 mail and go toys world of the day clues murray number
Probably longest experience ever. Seriously, for such a big company get it right. Servicing sold products shouldn’t be so hard.
Don’t bother going to this store.
Waited and waited to buy new watch… just not interested in service.
Made an appointment before which means nothing!
Second bad experience at this store… why not just close it.
Customer Service seems optional here. Floor managers couldn’t even talk to customers. Then had to resolve an exchange question remotely. Gave situation message twice over the phone to people who seem unable to fix anything. Why even answer the phone? Apple called regarding my survey response. But still no one from Bindi Store responds. ️ It’s like no one has ability to make decisions. 30 years of being an Apple customer so I am shocked. The worst service I have ever experienced from Apple. Bondi Store management needs to be reviewed as they don’t seem at all interested in customer concerns.
I commenced my 'Apple Mac' journey only this year (2022), buying a fully specced MacBook Pro 16, an iPad and an Apple Pencil at Sydney's Broadway Store. Having decided to now also purchase the Studio Display and an external Keyboard, I headed out to the Bondi Store, as this was the only one (in Sydney) listing these items for immediate collection. On arrival I asked an employee a few simple questions, regarding the connectivity of the Display to my MacBook. The reply being that the person did not identify herself as a 'technician' and that I should call an Apple helpline. Well, OK (?) Receiving the goods that I had ordered and already paid for, I noticed that the Keyboard box was damaged at one end. Asking for a replacement, I was told that I had to take that particular box, as everything had already been scanned into their system. I was stunned, but then asked for the manager. I finally reached my car within the hour of allowed nearby parking, harbouring a numb feeling. Having just spent in excess of $3,300, this experience spoilt the anticipated enjoyment for the day. Anyone interested in a height adjustable Studio Display with keyboard? I have noticed that these items are in short supply again. I will return them at the end of this week. I am also considering my return to the Windows world. I am reluctant to provide reviews in general. But having noticed several other one evaluations and given the perceived high value of the Apple brand, may I suggest an internal audit on how staff at this store interact with Apple's loyal customer base.
Always try to sting you with getting the whole device replaced for an exponential sum. Go around the junction to one of the independent iPhone repair stores. Will fix things with the same parts for less than half the price.
This bad experience was 2 months ago, but I feel I have to write about it for the purposes of improving customer service.
I visted the store and the first day was long queue and I prefer to take an appointment instead of waiting for long time. And unfortunately it is the same you have to wait, so what is the point of taking appointment?
*I had issue with my device and I am not talking about the issue, I am talking about the way of dealing with customers from some staff members that I have met, but fist I have to acknowledge that few of them were very professional and respectful like Bruce; Leslie and Mark, specially Bruce who was very professional and patient.
In contrast, few others were very rude specially Nick who said he is the manager and he was very far away from the professionalism, and even he followed me to ensure that is no any one helps me, and he did not respect the safe distance in communication, and he did not listen to my issue and said I am the manager and there is nothing to do and asked me to leave. I do not know if he was Steve Jobs what is he going to do. In general, I recommend to go to the apple store in CBD & broadway, they are much better than here.
My one and a half year old Apple phone would not re start one morning. It was not damaged at all, just wouldn’t start. It was sent to the service centre for repair. No explanation given only that I would lose all my data. I picked up the mobile one week later. Was told that the battery was replaced. I later discovered that Apply Pay did not work. Returned to the Bondi store. Was told the issue was with my bank merchant. I suggested we try loading another merchant card. Still didn’t work. Phone was cleared again of all data. Still didn’t work. I was told to speak to someone at Apple Care while in store. While Apple Care were doing the diagnostics, the genius at the store took off on his lunch break. Apple care wanted to speak to him to advise the issue was not the software. No one in the store could help. An hour later, the genius returned back to work and I was told the issue was actually with the ‘new’ hardware that was installed. WOW. Some guy called Shane tried to explain to me that Apple provided the highest quality after service ie, QC was not complete before returning the phone from the service centre and everyone from the bank to the software was at issue, not the phone itself. Not a great experience!
The staff are useless with product knowledge and transfer you to some other line, where they don't sound Australian and they just want your details, rather than answer your questions
Left me waiting 25 min from my booked appointment, then when I went to ask to get my iphone fixed (which is under warranty), they wanted to charge me over $500 for the screen. That’s 25% cost of the phone. Daylight robbery and shameful customer experience. Another customer heard me and my case and even jumped in to support me. Makes me glad I’m a PC user and not Mac. The sooner they put stricter regulations around companies abusing market power, price gauging like this, the better.
Trying to explain the problem with my mac to the so called ‘genius’, but instead of waiting for me to finish they kept interrupting me and got nothing solved.
Well done Apple Bondi, shame on you.
Got an appointment to get a quote to fix my water damaged laptop, and the news very bad…however nothing todo with the experience. As I arrived almost 1 hr before the appointment I got to appreciate a full hr of an experienced mobile photographer giving a live lecture on a 5x3 screen on how to take pictures…loved it. The following day another lecture on mobile music mixer apps…very entertaining
I bought my phone months ago - I suffered a terrible experience recently where I was assaulted and robbed. I went to an apple store in Perth to try block my phone but they were hopeless. I called the Bondi store I think I spoke with a Tatiana - the level of care and sympathy was second to non I would really like to send big thanks to her and the Bondi team for helping me get my phone blocked and deleted.
