All Drive Subaroo reviews
81The guys at ADS are very knowledgeable about all things Subaru. I've had a bunch of issues with my Levorg, including the CVT transmission, they were very quick to diagnose the issue and assist with the warranty repair. Now they are also my go-to for servicing and any repairs/upgrades. They also do some very cool big power builds.so if I ever pull the trigger on a CVT to 6MT conversion, I'll be going with these guys.
Dropped round to bombard them with technical questions about my sti and the guy I spoke to was very honest and extremely helpful with everything that I asked about
After reading many of their great reviews, I took a punt.
These guys set the standard for exceptional service with a smile.
I was very happy with the clutch job on my Forester Diesel.
Thoroughly recommend.and no, I'm not related!
Bought a car with one of these guys EJ257 motor and turbo combos already installed. Had an issue due to oversight from 3rd party installer contacted ADS regarding advice and recommendations and they were more than happy to help 6 stars
The Team at ADS have been incredibly helpful, my partners 20155 STI motor blew and team has bent over backwards helping source parts as well as providing expert advice. I can't recommend them enough.
Where to begin with my review of the team at ADS and the work ethic, knowledge, teamwork, communication and job well done on their behalf?
Previously I had my car worked on by another workshop, which in the end resulted in a blown engine at 42k kms. I had no support, no upholding of their supposed warranty and no communication on where to go. With egg on my face I was fearful of fixing my Subaru and have a reoccurrance engine failure. I thought about selling and moving onto a Corolla.
I heard of All Drive Subaroo off a mate who said they were the real deal. Having been lied to by a previously renowned workshop I was skeptical, however this isn't the case. From the get go I was welcomed by Niazi and the team, the entire process was explained from teardown to back on the road and all questions answered.
There's some guy working there, I think his name was Gab or something, he walked me through the build, gave me regular updates and asked for my input on my own build constantly. Any issues during the build were dealt with, even during COVID where shipping was a nightmare and trying for everyone.
I finally have my car back, drives like a Subaru is supposed to. I didn't get some massive power figure that eats all cars on the road, however they built me exactly what I wanted. If anyone is questioning where to go for a big build or even for a basic service, please give ADS no second thought.
The only thing i regret is not getting to know the whole team who made my car dream come true, although Dave convinced me the Sambar is the next best thing since sliced bread.
Cheers ADS
One of the most honest shops around, very helpful over the phone and customer service 2nd to none
Very happy with the service and customer care.
Friendly clean environment and best of all affordable.
Will recommend.
Always feel safe when my car is taken here. The work done to my car is always well done and i’ve been servicing my car here for years. The boys are excellent at what they do! Highly Recommended
Have been coming here for a couple years to get my Subarus serviced. They are a bunch of friendly, knowledgeable guys who do great work and are always a pleasure to deal with.
Very helpful and and well under Subaru’s price, I would highly recommend them for their service and friendly approach
Very prompt and personable service.
Quick diagnosis and repair - recommended service for Subaroos
All good. ADS was recommended by friends for their customer service.
And happy to report that the first non-'official' service for a 5yo Forester was extremely smooth and professional.
Not inexpensive, but happy with the process (and with fixing residual issues from previous 'official' services)
Read on their website they can diagnose and repair ECU'S, when I got there they started telling me that I need to replace my liberty's motor and gear box costng me 16k (which you could get from a wrecker for around 7k at most) without even looking at my car. You should stay away from these guys, they sound ridiculous.
Quality of work is good and technician are friendly and very knowledgeable, knew exactly what I need and what I didn't to fit my build.
But the experience was very disappointing.
Whether my expectations were too high I'll let you be the judge.
All in all my car was at their workshop for just above 3 months. This was very understandable as most of this was waiting for parts to arrive, turbo, ecu etc especially during COVID.
What I couldn't understand was all the things that wasn't done that I had requested after all that time.
1. Steering wheel not installed - no explanation given.
2. Seats not installed - was told it required custom fab work on the day I went to pick up the car.
3. Gauges, not fixed - they tried but ended up telling me I need to supply new sensors.
4. Steering column and handbrake trim not installed.
5. Turbo heat shield I supplied was installed, but they missed the gold reflective foil
6. Suspension not raised after requesting to do so. Even more bizarre that they charged a wheel alignment fee.
7. Aircon was not re-gassed, they said they couldn't book in the guy to do it. Apparently old mate was booked out for the 3 months.
8. Brakes are somehow spongier than before after they installed stainless braided brake lines and bled it.
9. After market headlights they installed for me had a blown light (my fault), I was told to replace it but I feel they should have just done this and charged me for it.
10. No in-house tuner. So if the tuners they take it to have any issues, you'll be charged each time they tow it back and forth.
11. They somehow managed to lose the button that opens up the arm rest storage box and didn't tell me or try to fix it.
12. Car has an idling issue that somehow both the tuners and ADS missed when they gave the car back to me.
Although they didn't charge me for the above except for the mysterious wheel alignment, it just leaves a very bad taste in my mouth considering that I paid $23K + for everything else.
Brilliant service! Had my Forester towed over in need of a transmission repair. They communicated issues, repairs and costs, and confirmed everything with emails. Very happy with their work. My Subaru go-to.
I called from Queensland, seeking advice, I spoke with Robert M, who provided me with valuable knowledge.
I cannot recommend All Drive Subaroo highly enough. Incredible service, knowledge, value and reliability - qualities that are sadly lacking in the industry. If you have a Subaru, you need to try these guys, you will not be disappointed.
All Drive Subaroo supplied rebuild engine. Very professional. Robert and Chris were very helpful with any questions I had. Also prompt delivery from Sydney to Taree. Thanks
Exceptional! Great quality part and very helpful.transformed my car to be magically 10 years newer tighter and faster!
every now and then you find the good guys first time.support this business!
