One month before my scheduled trip to Australia, I had a video meeting with AHC, and they advised me to apply for a type of visa that can take six months or longer to process. I applied for the visa, but did not receive it in time for the trip. I had to cancel the entire trip, losing thousands of dollars. It was my fault, not AHC's, that I waited until it was too late to obtain the correct type of visa. However, it would have been more professional for AHC to advise that it was not possible to obtain the visa in time, and that they could not help me. In fact, that was the response I received from another law firm. Instead, AHC offered to assist me with the visa application for $2000-$5000, depending on the level of assistance, with no guarantee of the outcome. AHC seemed interested in selling me as much legal service as possible. They assigned one of their lawyers to me at $660/hour. When I requested a less expensive option, they assigned a different lawyer at $330/hour. The whole experience was severely disappointing and unpleasant. Lawyers do tend to be money hungry, but these lawyers were hungrier than most. I will not use AHC again.

Fully deposited for a case but they will start asking for more money if I ask a lot of questions. And, lawyers are not reachable. My case was used to be handled properly by Kris/Davin but they are all gone. Saved some energy and went to another lawyer instead. Bad experience.
