Yogis Kitchen reviews
59Very rood people and unprofessional, they treat some people badly, but try to please others! Never going there anymore!
Wasn’t planning on getting Indian food. It I walked by and couldn’t resist the smell coming out of this place. Ordered Lamb Chettinad and roti an my oh my is it delicious! Service was lovely. If I’m back this way I’ll definitely be hitting these folks up again!
A wonderful little family-run restaurant with terrific service and absolutely delicious food. Yogi even offered to drive us home when our taxi didn’t show up!
Average north Indian food. The lady owner is lovely and helpful. The man rude and abrupt. Many menu items and specials she told us were available he then would not let us order. We came because we called ahead and were told what we wanted was available, only to arrive and have him rudely say he couldn’t make any of those things at dinner time (all of the South Indian food and thalis). I found it Overpriced for what it is. Butter chicken and korma were nothing special. Wouldn’t go back.
This place is really good and decent price. Would love to come back here in Canberra again for Yogi's Kitchen
Casual indian dine in/take away. I dined in with a friend, our meal was excellent and the premises are modern so we managed to avoid the 'take-home spice aroma' through our clothes, that we often get from dining in an indian restaraunt. Would happily recommend to anyone. Good value for money.
Best Indian food I’ve ever had. Tandoori chicken has to be tasted to be believed. Good service, generous portions. Meat was perfectly cooked and sauces were just right. Atmosphere is nothing special but don’t let that put you off eating here. Will definitely come back on our next trip to Canberra.
Lunch special of two veg curries and rice for $12 is a good deal in this pricey part of town. Staff were friendly and efficient and the dining area has a pleasant ambience. Lovers of spice may be disappointed with the mild curries on offer, however. This place targets the mainly Caucasian public service workers in the area
Found the butter chicken to be very watery and not that rich, thick sauce like a good butter chicken should. Good poppadoms though
Great food, friendly staff. Nice little family own business. Great place for kids. Delicious butter chicken.
Wish could give them 0 star. Food is no doubt good but staff is very very rude, unprofessional and have no courtesy at all.
Loved this place! Hands down the best food we had during our time in Australia. I would highly recommend checking out Yogis Kitchen.
The food tantalized the taste buds and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend the Bhaji and Saag Lamb. Cosy and friendly atmosphere.
Not quite there for takeaway - had the lamb roast with Roti. Asked how I wanted it (mild or hot), said hot - it was not even mild, they forgot the order and no plastic fork or serviettes. A general malaise of an atmosphere which was not encouraging. Price was ok but not again.
Reasonable taste.a blend of north middle and south indian taste. Lunch and Thali options are good for the price. They run out of Tandoori chiken and have been dissapointed many a times not finding it, specially during the evening hours. Its main branch in Gunghalin has better options though.
Just really awful food. Tasted cheap. Me and my boyfriend got butter chicken, it was so so sickenly sweet, that's all the taste there was to it, I love sweet stuff but even that was too much for me, and isn't like any normal butter chicken I've ever tasted. The salad consisted of 3 little leaves and 2 slices of cucumber. Saddest looking salad ever. I also really, really dislike the cutlery sitting in the cup at the table, couldn't stop thinking about how many peoples hands touched it, so gross
Great little find on Barton. Lunch specials available and very reasonably priced. Food was delicious
Ordered through Deliveroo. The restaurant sent us the wrong meals (we ordered two and both were wrong) and did not provide the drink. When they sent back the meals, they only sent one and then told us that that would have to do. Am still waiting on a call from someone to clear up the situation. Not just bad service, this is theft.
Nice little Indian place with very polite staff in Barton. Have a takeaway lunch deal available for $10/$12 for a selection of curry and rice however there is far too much rice, up to 70% of the container what I had and is consistent from others experiences.
I had the butter chicken which was very fragrant but also quite mild and a bit too bland for my preference.
Also had a naan for $3 extra which was very tasty and freshly cooked upon order.
