Service -Extremely Slow service.
Served starters and made us wait 45 mins for mains on 1st jan 2024. We are the only customers dining in at the time. How they couldn't serve 1 table in 2 hours is beyond my understanding.food is okay, but chicken Tikka curry is on the sweeter side. Panner is burnt as ash.
Peas pulao is more like yellow rice with just peas in it
If the food has been great, I would have tolerated the wait but overall pretty disappointed.

Can’t fault it, took a long while to arrive, didn’t realise they were in Barton. Wow, what great food, best takeaway delivery I have had in a long while.

Had dinner here during a stay at a near hotel. Food was very good and well priced. Service a little pot luck, I think it would depend on how busy they are. It serves a a takeaway too so some of the tables are used by people waiting for their take out. Not licensed yet but I'm told this is coming soon. It is BYO though with a bottle shop right next door.

Amazing! The best Indian restaurant in Canberra. The food is to die for and the staff is so lovely! Such a cute and cozy restaurant to dine in. Also, perfect for takeout.

Food taste was good. Service was terribly slow and the lady at the counter was totally illogical in terms of serving. We came to the restaurant first and then waited for 1hour to get our main course order. The logic given was that if we have ordered banquet, then we will only be served next item once it has been delivered to all the guests in restaurant.
Totally illogical. Finally we got our complete order once everyone of the guests had received their orders.
If you are hungry and need some good food to eat, this is not the right place.

Living right across the street from Canberra's best butter chicken and naan bread isn't good for my waistline! Staff are very friendly. I have Yogis at least once a fortnight and they never disappoint.

Has a bit of a wait on food but when the food comes to your table definitely worth the wait

Super friendly and accomodating staff, able to make dietary / allergy recommendations and modifications - my best friend was able to have Indian for the first time in over 10 years! Everything we’ve tried has been delicious, we’ve been loving the bhindi masala and the butter chicken is quite literally the best I’ve ever had.

Great food.
Food came about 60 mins after order but they made it up with quality tasty food. Canberra is expensive for food and this is no exception.

I ordered prawn masala and garlic naan. Excellent choice! Service was wanting though. Only one waiter who wasn’t a regular staffer, more like a family member and wasn’t very helpful. Fortunately the chef played his part really well.

Always hearty excellent food. Butter chicken and garlic naan are my go to comfort food. Good portions as well.

Ordered from Deliveroo because I saw that the restaurant do their own delivery.
The food was fantastic, and the driver helpfully brought the food up to my apartment.
The Mirch Paneer and Goat Chettinad were great options. The roti bread is also delicious. All arrived hot and fresh.
Arrived within ten minutes of the estimated time (Friday lunchtime).

Fantastic food. Great service, lovely staff, and the portions are terrific. Don't go to the upmarket fancy places, try this for a real food experience!

Another great find on the same night as the kebab shop opposite. Most underrated Indian food joint. Very welcoming staff and very subtle and cosy environment. They didn't have we were after on the menu but on request they made what they had in the way we wanted, which is very very kind of them and very uncommon in small restaurants. Thanks

$15 lunch with garlic naan, naan is amazing and food is ok, I am not a big fan of potato in palak paneer though, it doesn’t taste like palak paneer anymore (it’s called palak Aloo). But price is reasonable with what you get. I like how they serve water in metal cups, feels so much better than plastic or glass cups

The best Indian lamb biryani I’ve tried in a long time and I’ve tried dozens of Indian restaurants around Sydney! The flavours were so authentic, not overly spiced and just the perfect amount of heat. The food was absolutely delicious, service impeccable and the atmosphere so warm and lovely. Just what we were looking for on a cold Canberra night! This will definitely be our go to Indian restaurant when we are back in Canberra! Thank you so much for a great experience.

I love this little restaurant for dine in. It's an underrated, small business tucked away in an office district, creating consistently exceptional food I could never make myself, over the 5.5 years my friends and I have been going here!

At lunch they do a thali plate where you can choose from a set selection of veg and meat curries, which is fast, wonderful and filling. In the evenings though is when they really come alive. You can choose from an extensive menu, and having everything prepared from scratch just for you brings the taste to a new level. The Malai Kofta is my personal fave and I use it as the benchmark for every other Indian restaurant. So far no one has beaten this place! The banquets are also amazing and so much food. Great for a group.

If you haven't tried dine in here, and like a cosy unpretentious place to gather, I highly recommend you give this place a go.

We ordered from Yogi's via Deliveroo (restaurant does own delivery) at 5: 15PM on a Monday night. The order's estimated delivery time was 6: 10PM. From 6: 30PM to 7: 15PM both we and Deliveroo tried calling the restaurant but no one was answering. We gave up and cooked two minute noodles for dinner. At 7: 30PM Deliveroo stated they would request a refund for the order.

At 7: 45PM the restaurant's delivery driver arrived and delivered the order without apology or reason for the delay.

Best indian in Canberra by far! This place is amazing! I have tried most things on the menu and have thoroughly enjoyed every single meal I have had here but my favourite is the chicken 65 it's freaking delicious.if you are after authentic Indian food look no further than yogi's.
