Our fav Indian! We often eat there and have take away food. The service is friendly, the food is amazing! Don't be full by the questionable interior:) Kids are well accomodated there!

Food is good, though very expensive. There are equally better indian places nearby that are much more affordable.

Lovely food, great service! Best Indian food I have had in a long time! Did not expecting find it in Canberra esp with such a great view on the water.would come often if I was living close by!

Absolutely amazing food and very friendly staff. Travelling and eating alone isn't my first preference but the staff at 7 by the lake made the experience very pleasurable. Can't recommend highly enough.

Very expensive. Very small portion size which would hv fine if u get tasty food but below avarage quality even their bread nan n masala papas was not good
Would never go again.if u r charging for view we better sit outside enjoy view free of cost. Very disappointed

I ordered kadai paneer. But i dont know what rubbish they gave me just onions puree and few chunks of onions. They don't deserve even one star.

Dined here for the first time last night and couldn’t fault anything. Prompt, friendly service with the waitress very knowledgeable about the food, which was delicious and decent sized servings. Only four white wines by the glass but of a very generous size. We live on the Foreshore and will be going back often. I suspect the bad earlier reviews have been posted by people aligned to other Indian restaurants.

Curries are good here, the lalmas not for the faint hearted. The saag definitely had a unique taste to it and would get again. Rice serve could be bigger for the price. Only thing missing from the southern menu options is a masala dosai. Licensed for those who like wine with their curry.

Food was below average and extremely expensive - they even charged for the request to make the food spicy. Slow service. I would not be coming back.

We’ve ordered a starter and it was not at all fresh. Felt like it’s a frozen one that’s made instantly. Food is below average. Wouldn’t recommend this place.
