I had been so many times now. It's really nice location and delicious food. Friendly staff and excellent service.

Fantastic experience! The food arrived very quickly and was delicious. The service was first class and our waitress was friendly, polite and very efficient.
Tonight the restaurant was booked for a private function, however we were fortunate enough to be offered an outside table (for 6 of us) with an outdoor heater.and a great view of the lake by night.
We received outstanding service from the restaurant owner and our waitress, despite them having to also cater for their function guests.
We will definitely be returning to "7 by the Lake" and we recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys great Indian cuisine and first class service.

We dine out a lot especially at Indian restaurants and this food was magnificent. The depth of flavour was the best we've had. The staff were so helpful, engaging and friendly. Will dine here again.

One of the good Indian restaurants in Canberra. If you feel like having north Indian food, than you can visit and have some amazing food.
I ordered my food via menulog. It was fresh and nicely cooked.

Awesome food! The staff was friendly and answered all our questions well. The presentation of food was very professional. Value for money. The ambiance of the restaurant was quite good.

Our night here was perfect. Bart, our waiter, was outstanding. The food was served quickly and hot. He suggested a dish we hadn’t tried before which was excellent (mughlai chicken). We will be back!

Been there 4 times and every time the food has been top class. Chicken Tikka masala is a must try. Easily top 3 Indian restaurants in Canberra!

Yummy food with quick service, lake view is beautiful in a day time, had a great experience.

Excellent restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff. Manger recommended a better option than we had chosen which worked out much better. The meals were delicious.

$26 for a tiny portion of Lamb Rogan Josh. 4 pieces of meat. Never coming back, I recommend no one else does either.

So far this is the best restaurant serving indian food in Canberra. The food is spiced to perfection. There is a wide variety of items in the menu and the meals seem cooked fresh (not stored and served for several days). A must visit if you’re touring Canberra.

Last night we went looking for a place for dinner along the Kingston foreshore and walked straight past 7 By The Lake because there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. But thank god we decided to eat there because the food without doubt is one of the best Indian meals that me and my husband have ever had. The staff were wonderful, they love a chat and the service was fabulous. So if your ever visiting the restaurants along the Kingston foreshore in Canberra, we highly recommend 7 By The Lake. 5 Stars from us)

Our go-to Indian place in Canberra - consistently high quality and delicious food with the warmest hospitality - every time. Worth it.

First time dining here. I ordered laal maas which was very hot. They could have cooked the chillis a bit more. I hadn't heard of this curry so I was expecting something different and exotic. It is a very spicy tomato based curry. There is little difference between the vindaloo and laalmaas. Service was fast and efficient, but there is room for improvement.

Worst. Food was not good and comparing to other indian resturants in city this is pretty expensive.i don't recommend at all. It was my bad expirence.
