57I got the malai kofta take away and it was absolutely delicious! I also got the cheese and garlic naan which was great too. When I picked up my food, there were only a handful of people dining in, I definitely think it should've been busier given the quality of the food!
Enjoyed the food. Could be exceptional, had the space could be little bigger. Fair price compared to quality of food. Thanks again.
Excellent, excellent. Visiting Canberra and so pleased to find this gem of Indian cooking. Terrific flavours, sweet service - I highly recommend it. (And so many Indian restaurants are mediocre.).
Friendly staff. Lamb curry and saag aloo very good but the butter chicken was too sweet and lacking butter and flavour with tomato taste mostly. Breads were good.
Very rude owner attended a party few days ago he was not very welcoming. Service was awful and he was very rude to my parents spoke to them inappropriately and told them to never return to the restaurant again after we told him off. The food was very average too, The owner also appeared drunk during our visit. I think you should see another good restaurant in kingston.
What a fantastic place! They have accomodating staff who are very friendly, great food and a beautiful waterside restaurant. Couldn’t recommend higher
Not sure why some people given low rating. This place has never let us down in food and service (and of course best view of the lake for any Indian restaurant in Canberra) Tried most of their items and has always been one of the best prepared. Their chilli chicken is our favourite! Keep it up guys!
Meals could be a just a tad too spicy (chilli hot) for the average Aussie but I personally found it just right. The flavours were wonderfully satisfying.
Hello Friends, last week, I went to this restaurant as I wanted to try some indian style food, I was just new in the town and would love to explore foods around the town. We ordered couple of curries and few Naan (A fluffy bread made from plain flour with a butter on top of it) and some flat bread (made from wheat floor), I was given my order after waiting of 30 minutes and there was watery currie gravy i found and the flat breads were not properly cooked at all and I asked the manager/owner to give me replacement and and he provided another (half cooked) and then we had discussion about the food and he told me "Do not come here" and after few time we had more discussion and then he told us to "Get lost".
so, overall I was not satisfied AT ALL with food provided and definitely did not like a customer service provided AT ALL.
This was the WORST customer service I have experienced in any restaurant in Australia in last 10 years.
I DO NOT recommend to go this one (Not appropriate for one Star rating too)
Instead go to Bollywood Masala which is near to this restaurant.
Fantastic food, great flavour. Staff were extremely lovely and the owner takes pride in his business. Will be going again!
Worst food ever tasted. This place is not for food lovers though ambiance is good I must say. Very disappointed dinner on a special day.
Staff are friendly with great service. The food was just divine. Great looking restaurant with great atmosphere.
Worst food I’ve ever had. It’s scary they can charge that much for poor quality and uninspiring food. It’s confusing with how the dishes are priced when quality and portion and taste is not there. Tried about $200 worth of food for birthday and left hungry with tastebuds confused.the fusion doesn’t make sense, the combination was just bad. Floor Staff has no experience.
Another fantastic experience last night. Whenever we visit Canberra we always drop in. Never disappointed. Exceptional food, fantastic service.
Formal dining with friendly service and good food as well as halal. Not necessarily low priced but reasonable with location facing the Kingston foreshore.
Is good if you don't know how Indian food taste like. The food is totally tasteless and doesn't bring out any flavor. Avoid it.
Been there for the first time, the Quality of food and Service is Excellent. A very peaceful and clean atmosphere.
Very friendly staff, fantastic food and great location, have been countless times and am never disappointed
A must-visit place in Canberra if you're looking for quality Indian food. The menu has all special dishes from each region of India. Tried the Chettinad curry and it was just fabulous.
