Zanders at Cable Beach

Nice location, nice food, good service, but expensive. Ok considering the location and evening sunset it's good. Seafood platter $125 for 2. Can of beer $9.50. Really, why is the can of beer so expensive. Can someone tell me. Looked at the wine list and put it down real quick

An absolute beachfront location make this the premier location for sunset views at Cable Beach. It's casual and informal dining with crocodile and kangaroo showcasing 'modern Australian' menu items, amongst more traditional fare.

We went for lunch & had Barramundi Burrito fold & The Fish & Chips. Fish lightly battered & tasty. Chips just ordinary chips. Barramundi presented well & was devoured. Enough said. Service was good. Orders taken promptly & our needs attended to. Great view & at a guess a top spot for arvo drinks/meal to watch the sun set. Thanks all.

Zander’s is a comfortable restaurant with really nice customer service. Food is good, however not cheap but location is lovely. Can’t complain.

FOOD
I had a salad that was quite good. 4/5 stars.

DRINKS
Virgin mango daikiri? Was really mediocre, ice inside, not blended properly and too small for its price, lots of sugar as well.
(Bar guy offer me to make it again but I didn’t want it. If you make things make it good from scratch. Then he said that blender was broken, which I find quite non profesional for a bar. You should have more than one or report it broken before service, but get things done properly.

SERVICE
One of the girls (receptionist) was really good at service but there was 4 guys doing nothing behind the bar and having conversation while people was waiting to be serviced. At the end receptionist end up taking us the order. Not the most desirable service. 2/5 starts for service only for the kind girl.
(It was after midday and the place was not busy, only 5/6 allocated)

LOCATION
it’s a 5/5 stars for sunset or any time but the place could be way better. I guess F&B manager should be working harder.

Nice spot for sunset drinks overlooking cable beach with nice share plates. Paid 15% public holiday surcharge but discovered that staff were not getting the loading!

Great location, pleasant surroundings, views and good service right on cable beach front. Always a must either for breakfast or dinner if you are looking to dine out in Broome.

Really nice place to relax for sunset. Wide choice of drinks, but the food was very disappointing. The pizzas were undercooked and had little taste.

Lovely staff, great location, expensive order but perfect portion.
The food tasted great but the presentation of two main meals cost them a star.

Had to pick out the scales on the battered fish and had to pick out pieces of broken mussel shell from the seafood marinara.

Nothing worse than having to pick through and manhandled your food to make sure it's safe to eat.

Service and food were good, however ordered a $110 seafood platter and it honestly could be smashed by one person.

Went to see the sunset on a recent public holiday enjoyed the small plate meal and drinks however there was the normal public holiday surcharge but later found out the staff was not paid penalty rates which the surcharge is meant to cover. Bad ethics of management.

I took one look at the prices and moved on to the Divers Tavern just down the road.
Great views of the ocean sunset.

We just stopped by for a drink. I had a cocktail, which was great taste & large as well. Got our money worth.
Lovely ambiance, great waiting staff.

Great service, delicious lunch time meals. Does need a little freshening up with the paint work but all in all comfortable surroundings & in a great location.

Not too good food. Waiting time for one sandwich and the burger. They also serve salad but not probide forks. No words. Highly diasapointed. - 1 hr. Not recommended.

A great place too have a few drinks watching the sunset go down, food wise quite expensive and not alot too choose from too be honest.

Amazing beach! Absolutely recommended during the sunset. During the day there is the lifeguard service!

Food was good, drinks were good. View was amazing! The service was pretty bad though. I'm sure you can get better service somewhere else with a great view.

Coffees were good as well as the beers etc and the price was reasonable. But the service was too slow considering the place was only half full or less for the few hours we were there.

There is a cute small sandy park next to it, the children love it.
