Zanders at Cable Beach

I just had my dinner today 16/10 at this place. It was my pre birthday dinner and we ask for cognac at the end of the meal but was told my this rude manager of Zanders that they only serve cognac with ice. Who serve cognac with ice?
We refused to drink it and ask for our Manet they we paid to refunded
However thid rude manager would not want to refund our $10 back and insisted that he is right
This is his word “ in WA no one serve cognac by itself but with ice “
Mate you don’t even sound Australian so don’t try to use WA as an excuse
Whole story is the good is nice but the service tonight is spoilt by this rude manager with an accent and trying to justify that he knows Australian food & beverage service very well
Try working in Perth mate with that attitude. As a service manager you should listen to your customer and try to accommodate their request and if you can’t please come out with a good excuse not a lame pathetic one

Shame the location is good but my whole night is spoilt by this manager and not even the staff who serve us really nicely. I take my business elsewhere. Such a bad let down for my first trip to Broome

The management are rude and outright liars to your face! The food was edible, but overpriced and not as per the menu. And they couldn’t care if you are unhappy with them. Very noisy too. I don’t have any idea why it’s popular!

23 Oct the staff were extremely rude to people waiting for the place to open. Customers asked politely to sit and wait and were rudely told to go away and wait outside. It’s an outdoor sitting area.

Under cooked then returned and undercooked again, other order was very dry and bland
And drinks were forgotten

Dear Zanders, there is a serious problem with your floor staff, obviously they are overloaded which made them impatient and blatantly rude to customers, there are no form of customer service display here staff just want to get rid of you quickly.

For example, when i asked for a sandwich, they said they have no spinach becuz they haven't open the boxes, so i asked if i can have it without spinach then, becuz idw the ham option, she said no, i suggest maybe i can come back later, she say "idk, i cannot tell you"

All the staff seems disorganized and flustered, please take some time to organise your team and have a working system.

Not open on Wednesdays nor Thursdays so not able to visit. Apparently it is wet season (in October) and they don't open then. I had to wait outside for an hour for an arranged meeting with others. Zanders, I saw a lot of people walk up to your door and walk away as it was closed.

Terrible food, service not existent, Macdonalds better atmosphere. Food came out before drinks, crispy Parma with cold tomato sauce on top. Location only good thing.

We had dinner there one night and the food was nice - but expensive. Barramundi and chips for $50 was a bit steep.

Went back for breakfast two days later and were not impressed. Service was poor and poached eggs on toast was two eggs and one slice of toast. We were told, when we enquired about a second slice of toast, that a single slice would be an extra $5.00

Pity, seems like a nice place but someone is taking advantage with the limited options and price gouging IMO.

Sunset views are amazing and the cocktails were fantastic. Don't bother with the food, overpriced and adequate at best. Staff were mostly friendly and efficient but 1 or 2 had serious attitude problems. Food came out in record time and the tables were cleared almost as soon as the cutlery hit the plate so felt very rushed to move on. Would go back for the view and a drink but definitely wouldn't eat there again

Great environment excellent seating could do with extra toast with bacon and eggs as you get 2 eggs

You are essentially paying for the view here. Cocktails were nice but very expensive and the food was average and very hit and miss. The service was lack lustre. I would not return or recommend this restaurant.

Go here for cocktails and the view. Delicious frozen daquiri. Now for the bad and the ugly.

Natural oysters sent back as they had a horrible texture, refunded without question lovely waitress apologised said they were defrosted.yuck.

The seafood platter came, again Kilpatricks weren't touched for the same reason, squid bland and rubbery, mussels didn't taste fresh, chips very cheap and basic (we scoffed them down as we were absolutely starving by that point).

Overall the worst food experience in a long long time. For $120 felt absolutely robbed.

Finally found a decent fish & chips shop, that gives you a good piece of fish that's cooked just right

Breakfast this morning was inedible 2 out of the 3 orders had poached eggs, the eggs clearly were not drained and our plates were swimming in water and both were completely cold. Waiter and chef acknowledged that it was in fact terrible but that was as far as the apology went, no replacement offered. Clearly this establishment is taking advantage of an unusually high tourist season as food is overpriced, flavourless and poorly made. As for the 3rd order of pancakes well no amount of berry compote could hide the fact they were stale

Atmosphere is always good, but I've always had issues with food, steak comes out cold or over cooked. Meals are small for price to pay. I know its an upscale place but if I'm going to pay the price I do, I want a decent meal that's cooked correctly.

Beaut cafe/bar right on Cable Beach. Great place to have a drink and watch the sun set. Good choice of food on the menu and reasonably priced.
Ice cream bar attached.

Ordered an $8.00 blueberry smoothie which was watery and tasteless. Staff refused to exchange or replace.
Very disappointed ️

Waited 55 minutes for breakfast asked why others who arrived after us were receiving their order.waiter checked an order apparently did not go to kitchen even though could be seen on the system. Waited another 20 minutes and on the 2nd coffee order eventually arrived and poached eggs were over cooked. Offered another coffee for free but had enough coffee by now

Purchased an ice cream for the kids, biggest ripoff ever! $4.50 for one scoop which was the size of a mouth full. Kids are not happy and we are going to woolies for litre tub! Don’t waste your money.

Great views. Friendly and attentive staff. That’s as good as it got. Ordered in the early evening and already the Trawlers Catch and two kids meal choices were unavailable, not to mention running out of Great Northern (queue Slim Dusty). The Parmi didn’t save the day. Dry and should have been half the price for the size. A lot of 5 star reviews here and maybe it was an off night, but this was below par.
