43 DON'T STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE YOUNG KIDS
We went down for the long weekend with our caravan. We did not know, and were not told when booking that they do not allow bikes, scooters or skateboards in the park! We have been to many caravan parks and never had this, so of course our boys were devastated. The management were very rude from day one and not only to us. We soon made friends around the park and found out so many of the kids had been told off. The camp sites around us were very small and it was difficult to park our car and were partly on the road and had to move occasionally to let caravans past. The only thing it had going for it was the view at the grassed area overlooking the beach.
Great rooms much cheaper than onther acomidation in the area and frankly much nicer. Ocean views from most but not all rooms and walking distance from some great cafees and the beach.
Just off the cape to cape walking trail, which if your hikeing and want to spoil your self why not the park is usualy got some where to stay with acsess to showers, toilets and cooking facilities which is really handy after a long days walk.
Also that cafee within walking distance opens at 730am so great for a befor you leave breaky on the walk. Over all the park is in the perfect spot with great access to all you need. For a price that wont break the bank.
Fantastic beach. Great for surfing, snorkeling and swimming. Lovely picnic spot with change rooms, toilets and lookout platforms! Superb!
