Wooramel Station Riverside Retreat reviews
74Amazing place to stay! We had the Eco tent for a night stop-over and it was fantastic. Cooked dinner over the personal fireplace, board games under the stars, and great coffee in the morning. Well worth the stop over.
Lovely place.bit concerned with people drinking beer in glass bottles in the pools
What if you brake a bottle in the pool
Who is responsible for any cuts on your feet
Also people don't seem to understand to close the lid on toilets lots of insects entering
Little bit of commonsense from visitors please
The road in could have been better
Awesome place. The Artesian baths are so lovely. We stayed in an eco tent and it was a fantastic experience. We will definitely be back.
Wooramel Riverside Retreat is a fantastic place to unwind and soak up the artesian bath goodness. Just mind the flies about in general, bring a net. Fires currently allowed.
The dump point was not working, the roads could have been crush rocked to prevent a mud pit after road, some of the hot tubs were very muddy, the tubs were packed full of people for most of the day, Cafe not open for business yet.
Only good thing was getting up early morning before 7am and having the tub to yourself for the sunrise.
We decided to stop at Wooramel on our way from Perth to Exmouth. It was a great surprise and I regret not booking one extra night. Very peaceful and relaxing surroundings. The room was excellent, spacious and clean. Check in was super easy. Sleeping in Wooramel was essential to recharge our batteries for the next leg of the trip.
A wonderful place, to unwind for a day or two. The artesian bore hot baths are treat with a drink.
A wonderful place for a few days kicking back, eagles hawks and many other birds living in the fantastic trees lining the river bank.
Generous campsites, very friendly staff and more to come when the new cafe is completed. Will definitely return.
Lovely Eco tents available with beds for adults & kids. Neat and tidy. Each tent has an outdoor fire place. The mineral baths are quite popular. Shared ablution facilities throughout the park. Lots of walking trails to explore.
Hard to understand why this place was so busy? Dusty, noisy, overrun by city folk itching to cram into the stinking heated mud ponds to soak their yeasty groins while pickling their bodies with alcohol. One of the most bizzare and unfathomably overated stops we made in the whole state, maybe it was peaceful once, but I certainly won't recommend this swarming dustbowl to anyone.
24hr access to natural artesian hot tubs, nice temp, cleaned daily, spacious bays. Showers should be hot 24/7 instead of a very limited time frame so that's a negative
Beautiful place, clean and well kept. Roads to go in and out are great too, not a bit of corrugation! The Artesian Bore Baths are all you need after a long drive. 100% recommended
Now a favourite overnight stop on our annual journey north.thought we had a riverside spot reserved, but i'm guessing that riverside corridor is somewhat wider that we thought.
Staff always friendly here.we should really stay for a few days and dom some 4x4 driving around the property as it's supposed to be great.will be returning in 2022.
We stayed here for two nights with our two small children in our caravan. We booked a riverside campsite which comes with your own fire pit (you can buy a bag of wood for $20 or bring your own in). When you arrive, you're told to pick any site with a "blue number" and off you go. I did find it unnerving the first time to pick our own site as I didn't know "what was good". But we worked it out and found a fantastic spot near a perfect climbing tree and not to far from the toilet/showers.
It seems like a nice community feel here and everyone seems up for a chat as there are a lot of communal tables etc
The hot springs were the best part. They have four set up that they drain daily. It was a nice way to warm up in the morning and we took a few drinks up in the afternoon and had another soak. Don't wear anything light coloured in there as it will turn orange given the high mineral content of the water.
We loved winding down and sitting by the fire with the kids roasting marshmallows. The kids ran wild all day and were super tired by night - perfect!
The toilets and shower were clean. It's worth paying a few extra dollars to get a riverside campsite over the flats or grass.
BEWARE cost 32.00 if u pay with savings account you get charged 48 cents surcharge it is already expensive for un powered sites
Fantastic place, we only stayed for 1 night in the eco tent but wished we had booked for longer. Natural spas were lovely, campfire at 5pm every night is a lovely touch and the staff couldn't do enough to help you. We are already planning our next trip!
Excellent stay, warm artesian pools, happy hour, clean amenities, pick your own site. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Thank you H and Russell for the happy hour, thoroughly enjoyed.
Great place even when raining.hot or should I say warm artesian baths were OK very rusty smelling water stays in your hair for days dont get in your mouth yuk.
Accommodation is great and cheap qould stay again thanks
Perfect camping spot by the river. Lots of shade. Big sites. Showers & toilets available. Hot tubs. Peaceful. Only 2km of highway. No power. Would definately stay again. Dog friendly
