Wooramel Station Riverside Retreat reviews
74Wooramel River Retreat was a delightful surprise – absolutely loved it. The complimentary hot baths were a highlight, providing a relaxing experience. The uncertainty upon arrival faded quickly, especially with the unexpected treat of live music. Opting for the group meal, a smoked beef wrap dinner with sides, was well worth it. The spacious site was a plus, although the presence of ants proved a minor annoyance. Fortunately, convenient access to toilets and bathrooms just a short walk from the tent site balanced the experience.
Amazing place. We were there on pie night, absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere and having a grass site was fantastic
Definitely worth a stop over. Stayed here for 2 nights in our caravan. Family friendly atmosphere, was great fun! Such a relaxed and laid back environment. I really enjoyed our stay here.
Great place for a stopover and a soak in the 32° Artesian pools.
Cafe open each morning till 11am and set nightly meals from 5.30pm. Extended our stay to 4 nights to avoid the coast in school holidays
Had a great night at Wooramel Station, the rooms were nicely set up, the artesian baths were a great spot for an afternoon rest.
Beautiful warm artisan baths are free to use and open 24/7.overall a great stop on your travels north or south.the baths are great for stargazing during the nights especially
Had the best time. We camped on the grass area, had an awesome roast meal that they cooked and thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment. The hot tubs were amazing Will definitely be back one day
Amazing spot to stop, lovely artesian baths. Beautiful setting, the owners have done a fantastic job
A great spot to break the journey heading up/down the west coast. The spring baths are just what you need and there is a restaurant that serves a decent meal each night. An authentic "station style" campground with rooms and ready made tents if required.
Called in to wooramel river retreat, totally disappointed, looked at the prices and they’re far too dear for unpowered sites and no water, for somewhere out in the middle of nowhere, cheaper in Geraldton with powered sites with water and you have shops close by and by the ocean for fishing, honestly We wouldn’t be calling in there again
Magic piece of country - perfect pitstop between Perth and Exmouth. We stayed in the nice little Family Quarters - converted dongas - very comfortable with a beautiful green courtyard and firepit area surrounded by glorious Gum Trees and plethora of birdlife.
Easy access with standard car or low caravan, Awesome stay great staff clean toilets lots of room. Star viewing just awesome
Visited to get information on stays plus options available. Was very busy so the service provided was somewhat very limited.
Wooramel station is a wonderful spot to stop over for a few days going up North.
Rivergum caravan sites with fire pits are the go. Artesian tubs, rustic cafe, Station tip, warm showers and only 2.5 km off the highway, what a pleasure.
First time visiting but have not been disappointed. The hot pools are fabulous and provide you with many laughs and happy conversations as you sit and chat to fellow travellers.
We have met travellers from all over Australia.
Staff are helpful atmosphere is great, Pick a camping spot that suits you by the river or book other accomodation.
Tonight we attended the Wednesday night Camp oven dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the food and company of fellow travellers. Beautiful evening. Really recommend booking dinner when you book your visit to avoid disappointment as we missed out on Monday nights dinner.
Three nights have gone quickly. Plans are to visit again next year.
Thank you to the Wooramel Team.
Stayed 2 nights. Ok, but Very dusty. The artesian pools are nice. Staff friendly, showers warm, very basic as you would expect on a station.
Excellent place to spend a few days. Very peaceful and relaxing with a cafe on site and excellent artesian spas to soak in 24 hours per day.
Everyone must stop here at least once on their coral coast road trip. The facilities are 5star and not to mention the thermal bore baths. They can get busy and don't expect to have the bath to yourself. This is a great opportunity to get to know other travellers and get ideas from their travel experiences.
Lovely spot to stop on the way travelling north or south, with the artesian hot tubs and friendly staff well worth a visit, especially on nights when they have entertainment on, so plan ahead
Such a great surprise, a veritable oasis. Hot mineral pools amazing, the Wednesday dinner was stunning, kids demanding when will we be back.
