Woolstores reviews
52Old and run down with not many shops open now. The Coles Supermarket is the only reason to visit here. Miserable and over priced deli inside
Because of coles, but many ahops now closed and i hear coles is going. Tragedy. It was great for all your shopping and a lunch out.
Excellent small shopping centre. Travellers and locals mix well here. The downturn in retail has meant the centre is only half occupied, which is a pity.
Just your average local shopping centre but so full of antisocial people that there are guards and police in attendance nearly every time I go there.
What a shame.such a waste of what was once a thriving little centre. Now, a few shops remain open for business, dotted amongst empty dark spaces that there used to be shops. There are some low budget 'pop-up' shops, and those weird clothes shops that 'everything must go' items are still priced higher than you would pay for such mass produced, poor quality. Unfortunately, the vibe in the Woolstores is just, well, gloomy. I remember when Wendy's was in the middle, and the place was bright and bustling. I assume rental price must be unsustainable for a small business to stay alive.just like the rest of Fremantle. Shame on you councillors, you sold out our Freo. RIP Woolstores.
Coles are moving out due to renovation Idoubt if they will return due to anti-social behaviour and high theft rate even though they said they are. Who would?
Wow! The Woolstores have been run down - empty shops - well meaning second hand stores - and the worst Coles in Australia. Bring on the demolition.
I sort of never want this place to close because it's borderline heritage freo but at the same time I usually regret walking in to go to the Coles. Always. Always.
Great little shopping mall in Fremantle variety of shops cafes worth a visit if you doing like you big shopping centres you can find everything you need in woolstores
Beautiful to visit on days like this it’s an added bonus to have historical sites to see!
Shopping at Coles is good but not at night because it’s not really well lit!
Woolstores “Soul Patterson” chemist is definitely 5, a caring and compassionate business that actually do give the customer the best service!
Sincerely; Jo Duncan, Fremantle!
Almost a shopping centre ghost town. After the closure of Myer a few years ago which was painfully obvious they were financially haemoriging for several years leading up to the closure. Woolworths, Best & Less have also closed. It's shameful that local council and government seems to have plans for commercial and residential development and the inevitable ongoing development and expansion of Notre Dame University without adequate retail outlets to support both current and future residents and tourists to the Port City.
Anti-social behaviour. Coles is of poor quality also.staff are rude and completely unhelpful on EVERY level. Too bad seeing as it's the ONLY supermarket available in the Fremantle shopping precinct.
The variety and price keeps me going back for everyday groceries and other items. Very helpful staff too. BAN customers from using mobiles while going through checkout! It is rude to the checkout person and holds up those waiting in line!
Very convenient, over the years the Shopping Centre only has 1 toilet block instead of 2. Coles Is Great.
The coffee shop in side
is very nice.
To many Empty Shops.
Hope it needs a massage pick up
soos.
Sad and desolate. I assume rents have taken a hike? It's never a good look for the remaining businesses. Coles, a nail place, some other shops which all look lacklustre now because of all the empty shops. Pretty much like a lot of Fremantle. No doubt the big new shopping centre will fix that problem. Or not.
Has what you need. Be prepared to be threatened by the local centrelink recipients if you don't give them money or cigarettes
Seriously you guys need to renovate the joint or do something to spice the place up. Drop your rent or at least spend some money on the place.
Clean, sometimes has hobos, soon after school hours and before it is full of students that are usually nice, except for those CBC kids
The junkies are blossoming into violent pests here, though I do have hope for them and this community.
Woolstores is a nice under-cover shopping area in Fremantle. There are a nice collection of stores including Coles supermarket, clothes stores, chemist, cafe and other grocery stores. There is a great larger than life-sized figure of a ram, a piece of modern art to see. There are good seats in the heart of the shopping mall, entrys at either end of the mall are preceeded by restrooms decently maintained. The on street parking is complemented by the double-story carpark that stands adjacent to the shops; the view of the water and ships in the port is great.
