WooJeong reviews
42 U can prepack the food, but at least heat it before you give it to your customer!
Order online and get a bibimbap that's I can tell it's prepack for a while so no even hot. This is really disappointed me
When ever I come to Perth for work, I always come here for a soup/stew to satisfy my cravings. Never been let down.
Authentic Korean cuisine. Popular restaurant with good food. Food is a bit on the pricier side.
Attracted by the good reviews, we ordered the bulgogi beef set and seafood korean pancake. Beef was good but korean pancake is so so. Portions are really small as compared to other korean restaurants. Side dishes can only be refilled once. Ask me if i would come back again, i will probably give it a miss.
Please please please do not eat here. Unless you want gastro.
I ordered a bi mi pap which came out Ice cold meat and veg. When I informed staff it was cold, they said it is made this way (which is bs as I have eaten the same dish many times before and it is always piping hot… not to mention it says it is on hot stone).
Not only did they say “it’s made this way” they also charged me the full price when I only ate my first bite and refused to eat anymore. I thought they would only charge for my drink, which I did take with me.
If any health inspectors read this, please check them out. Who knows what else is poorly done behind their counters.
The soon-doo-boo with rice is super good! Silk tofu soup with seafood and egg, ask for less spicy. But my friend’s all-tang soup is salty and the seafood was overcooked. Will come again!
Came across this hidden gem near my friend's hotel, my friend had their beef bulgogi with rice, she said it was delicious. I ordered the kimchi jjigae, it was quite spicy, but I loved it, food felt really homey. Will definitely be back next time.
I ordered the kimchi jjigae. It was really tasty and traditional flavour. I also purchased the side-dish pickle veggie from next door. (I think they are the same team.) Ajoomma gave me some orange for free:) Strongly recommended~
Gal bi Tang was really delicious, the beef was slowed cooked till fork tender. The beef broth is rich in collagen and garlic. Alot of effort goes into this simple soup.
The kimchi mackerel soup has a light oyster/mussel based flavour. Quite spicy and sour, it is great with rice on a cold day.
Wow.okay, this place is waaaaay under rated. I've been to the main korean placed people go to and have never heard of this place until just a couple of weeks ago. I went there during lunch time on a Wednesday. Service was fast, self service water; they had warm water too, diverse side dishes, food came out within 10-15 minutes. BUT the TASTE OF THE FOOD, it made me happy eating the food. Will definitely go back!
The food is amazing but what impressed me the most was the service given by Terry. I definitely come back!
Delicious authentic Korean food. For $25-35 ph you can have an entree to share, main and drink. They set it up so you can get your own water and napkins. Side dishes they top up for you when you ask (we got served 6 different types). Place was popular with families, couples and friend groups.
Great Korean food. If you go here, go for the soups. They are extremely good and that's their focus. We had the chicken katsu which was very nice. Also Kim Chi pancake and seafood pancake. They were super crispy and good. Also the soups. Beef rib was amazing and so was the fish roe soup. I'll definitely be back.
Im impressed, small restaurant but crowded. They serve a good food, very tasty, we ordered bossam, korean pancake, ribs soup and korean cold noodle, yummyyyyy
Such a busy place, I reckon. So busy that we asked for more water, it never came we then left. They give you sides for free, not sure if can refill. If able to, not sure if they even came as so busy. It looks like only 1 person serving. Perhaps it is still holiday, no staff as yet. The price is alittle more expensive than other place. I only tried their kimbap and seafood pancake (seem small for the price and couldn't feel there was seafood in there).
Edited: ah one more thing, you will be given a docket containing a barcode, use your phone camera to bring up the menu for you to order. No human. You then get your food, finish eating and pay at the counter.
The best non-kbbq Korean in Perth, according to me and my Korean wife Loved the kimchi pancake, bibimbap, gimbap, tteokboki and more!
There were varieties of authentic Korean dishes here. Many of the dishes were a bit sweet and flavourful. This had attracted a lot of young adults. The dishes we had were quite delicious. We were lucky to get free fresh and sweet mandrine orange. The service was good. The staff was warm and friendly. This corner restaurant had good ambient and was clean. Enjoy!
I very rarely write reviews but I’m very appalled by the serving size of their donkatsu. $19 for 3 small and thin pieces of pork.
Nice little South Korean dining. Non-contact ordering system is available for the COVID-conscious. Tastes great too.
All the food here were delicious. We had Ttokbokee, Jjol-myon, Kimbap and Pork Katsu. Condiments were plentiful and unique. Our most favourite was their Ttokbokee. Service was fast and friendly.
