Wing Bo Chinese Restaurant

My daughter got a job at this restaurant recently and loved working there she never missed a shift and worked hard, on her shift one night she was unwell and was throwing up and ended up having to go home since then the manager hasn’t given her any shifts and put on a new girl and gave her all her shifts, every other staff member has been given shifts, even with contacting her boss she has been ignored and no communication at all for a so called family
Business this is disgusting if this is how they treat their staff. My daughter did nothing wrong at all. But is clearly being punished for being sick and been replaced with the new worker.

I had to give 1 star to make a review. I have never had such a disappointing meal. The chicken was boiled. Had to fight to find any vegetables. Honey chicken was yuk. Couldnt get to our regular Thai in Cooloongup as had 1 hour wait. This joint was only 15 minutes wait (now I know why). Spent big monies and food went in the rubbish binThe charged too dollar for that slop$$$

Service took long considering it's not busy the waiter was maybe new r not trained. Wanting to order and went to another table, considering it wasn't busy. Used to go here all the time a long time ago but stopped going as the food quality and service is not there no more. Just thought try again because of memories when it was good. My sons sauce too sweet and the balls dried out too chewy I think they refried it from yesterday. My schezuan beef dry burnt and hard to chew the taste also not there. They have never got this dish right unfortunately thought try again. I'm quite surprised they're still there. Too expensive for the price. Food court better and cheaper. Would of given no stars.

Used to be the best, now l wouldn't bother with anything but the steamed dim sims. Even the dogs turned their nose up at the special fried rice. AGAIN.
Sadly, gone down the gurgler & not worth the bother.

Our family has been going to this restaurant for years but unfortunately we won't be back after our last two experiences. The previous cook/chef produced the best dishes but now the battered dishes produced by the replacement cook are atrocious. First occasion since change in chef/cook, the sweet sour pork was way over battered but we gave them the benefit of the doubt. On the second and final occasion the Squid entree was way over cooked, it bounced like rubber and was heavily over battered. The lemon chicken was the worse! Unlike under the direction of the last Cook/chef where the kitchen produced the perfect ratio of batter to chicken and was thin and crispy, this dish was 3/4 batter (See pictures). I questioned why there was so much lemon chicken on the plate when it arrived at the table, it became apparent it was due to the ridiculous amount of batter being used. It was disgusting, the bread like battered between the crispy outside and chicken soaked up the sauce and turned into glue and rendered the eating sensation as if the batter was raw and uncooked, very unpleasant.   We asked for the dish to be cooked again with less batter but was delivered the exact same thing however the sauce was on the side so that the batter didn't turn to glue. We attempted to scrap the extreme excess batter off but it became tedious and a chore, not what you want when eating out at a restaurant, so gave up and left the lemon chicken pretty much untouched. We were still charged for the inediable dish and the staff didn't really seem to care that the level of quality of food was sub par.
Was a great restaurant before but now since the changes in the kitchen, it is not worth the money and I recommend to eat/order else where.

Worst Chinese restaurant I have ever visited. Food was okay. Billing is horrendous. No efpos. No bill splitting. You need to lift your game! You just lost 8 potential customers

Why won’t you split our bills? To the manager you were very rude to our friends we tried to pay our own bills but you were very adamant that we couldn’t pay our own bills, your only excuse was that we have had trouble before, we offered to pay separately but you just walked away,! Is it because you don’t want to pay the 2-3 % fee on your transaction, you need to lift your game if you want to stay in business, the average customer won’t stand for that rubbish.that’s why you get one star

Not an overly good experience. We had very slow service and the food came out at all different times. They don't offer any tap water for the table either.

Pretty subpar meal honestly. Called and asked if we could have more veg then meat and they said that's not possible. Then our chilli beef was drowned in raw runny egg whites - not nice and not normal for a chilli beef. Service was pretty meh too. And for God's sake fill up the fish tank those poor fish >. <

Food took an hour and a half to arrive and the food was warmish when it arrived. First time trying this restaurant, never again. I would give zero if I could.

Party of 4 adults service absolutely diabolical totally ignored waited 15 mins to order had to ask after 25 mins for table water no free prawn crackers people coming in after us served one bowl of rice served waited 15 mins for the rest of the food sent the rice back when meal came out 1 hr after placing our order.would not reccommend this place

Living in the past been dealing with them for over ten years.recently took our family there with 13 people, no split billing so one person had to pay the total definatley NOOO customer service

First time I've tried their food and it will be the last. The Satay beef was so sloppy and the fried rice was undercooked. No flavour at all.

Been a regular here for the past 8 years, Last two times in the past month we’ve ordered the lemon chicken along with other things and both times we get some watered down sweet and sour sauce instead of lemon, the second time we went in and complained this isn’t lemon and someone from out the back came out telling us it is, it’s not, I’ve had the lemon and it’s YELLOW, not red a watery. I’m giving this 2 stars as the girls at the front are nice and the rest of the food was great.

They fill the container a quarter full of lettuce leaves, the food isnt bad but its not good value, i wont get take away again from Wing Bo

I was starving and I didn’t throw it all up that’s why it got two stars. Place has gone from good to ok to average to bad.
Fried rice should read steamed rice and special fried rice should read extra steamed rice to be polite. Dishes have less and less in them every time.
Just to make matters worse you order and then go to collect and there is no contactless payment available. Come on it’s a Chinese restaurant (if you’d call it that)

Tried this restaurant because it was recommended by 2 friends of mine. Sorry to say but i was disappointed, Mee Goreng was tasteless with minimal ingredients. Large special fried rice was greasy, large egg fried rice was bland. Garlic chicken wasn't nice and chilli beef had more uncooked onions than anything and not a chilli in sight. I'm thinking maybe the chef called in sick tonight and someone else cooked because it was very bland food and sorry to say but i won't go there again.

Had Takeaway and it was great. Didn't answer the phone so I went there. It was busy with lunchtime but not that busy to not answer the phone. I was served promptly and got our meals very quickly. Food was well priced lunchtime special and as usual it was delicious.
