Wing Bo Chinese Restaurant reviews
66Not great, the power did infact go out and the food was not what was on the menu and made me very unwell.: (
Wide range of lunch specials available. Food freshly cooked, good size serve and very tasty.
Service a little slow due to only
one waitress doing everything.
Well done Amy!
Not an overly good experience. We had very slow service and the food came out at all different times. They don't offer any tap water for the table either.
Brilliant food and good serve sizes, Have Eaten there offen, very good portions, food always excellent and not overpowered with MSG, I recommend anyone to try, Prices are reasonable, but as for me for perfect Chinese food done to western palate, i don"t care if i pay a bit more.
The food is great it's the fact that they don't take care of their goldfish the tank Is half empty and dirty water and there's 1 filtration system
Pretty subpar meal honestly. Called and asked if we could have more veg then meat and they said that's not possible. Then our chilli beef was drowned in raw runny egg whites - not nice and not normal for a chilli beef. Service was pretty meh too. And for God's sake fill up the fish tank those poor fish >. <
Wasnt bad but wasn't the best, read Jamie Sommers review as it saif if I wanted to eat well I was to go here and GO NOW, best part about it was watching the seagull eating someone's leftover rice in the carpark and enjoying a lovely ladies company, I'd highly recommend instead trying Secret Harbours Chinese Restaurant, great lunch specials when they are actually open for lunch again. 1 Star for Wing Bo, and 2 stars for the seagull, I think it had more rice to eat than I did.
Great good, great staff but paying them is hard work!
The epos machine is held together with tape and has no pay wave facilities so it's either cash or pin, yes I know it's no big hassle but the point of fast food is its fast!
I can't send my kid to run in and swipe and go! As we dash between takeaways!
This shouldn't stop you from using this excellent restaurant as it's food is top notch, just don't be in a rush if there are a few people ahead of you!
The food is good. The service quick. But.we came on a Sunday, a birthday booking of 10 adults. When we came to pay, the staff would not allow us to pay a couple share of the bill at the counter. This is now commonplace as everyone uses card.
I understand the difficulty during peak times but there was only one other couple sitting there. Maybe we should have sat at separate tables.
Average looking chinese restaurant, but with lovely staff that arent always in your face. I ordered 3 meals which took only 10-15mins to appear. 1 each for my wife and i and 1 for the kids to share, walked out with 4 take away containers packed to the brim. Good flavoursome generous sized serves for what you pay (better priced than most around too).
I had the honey chicken, sweet sour pork and Mongolian beef with meat skewers and fried rice. Easily the best Chinese I've ever eaten and I've been to China. Highly recommended. You wanna eat well? You go here. GO NOW!
Food took an hour and a half to arrive and the food was warmish when it arrived. First time trying this restaurant, never again. I would give zero if I could.
Tried this restaurant because it was recommended by 2 friends of mine. Sorry to say but i was disappointed, Mee Goreng was tasteless with minimal ingredients. Large special fried rice was greasy, large egg fried rice was bland. Garlic chicken wasn't nice and chilli beef had more uncooked onions than anything and not a chilli in sight. I'm thinking maybe the chef called in sick tonight and someone else cooked because it was very bland food and sorry to say but i won't go there again.
Finally found chinese food in the area worth talking about. The combo chow mein was the best I've had.
I think the food is fantastic for affordable prices and the service is great!
Great place to take the whole family, kids friendly!
Thank you to all the staff!
Better than your average Chinese restaurant. Food was good and service excellent. Worth every cent
We are a regular here, the food is always freshly cooked and tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are friendly even when they are busy.
We came on a Sunday for lunch and we're glad that the lunch specials were still on. We ordered, BBQ Pork with fried rice, Satay Chicken with steamed rice, Curry chicken with steamed rice, Combination chow kway teow and Sweet and sour pork with steamed rice. Overall, the satay chicken was the best and sweet and sour pork second. Good value overall and we'll drop by again when in the area.
Another fantastic meal as always. Great staff and the kids even got a napkin folding lesson - they were so happy:). Thanks again guys and see you soon.
Takeaway: food had good flavor and service was very fast but exorbitant prices will ensure we do not order again. Very poor value for money.
