Andrea is a very competent lash technician. I booked an appointment with Andrea to get my lashes done and out of the 3 salons I’ve been to in Perth, Andrea has done the best job in achieving a dramatic look on me. I’ve never met anyone more knowledgeable and experienced than her because so far, she’s the only technician that i know, that is detailed-oriented. My lashes grows downwards and are very thin but she has made sure to pull the left, right and centre of my eyelids upwards, to ensure that all of my lashes are filled in. She took her time and effort, and went back and forth each eye so that she wouldn’t miss an eyelash! 4 days have passed since I got a refill and my lashes are still intact. Comparing to my past experiences at other salons, 50% of my lashes would’ve fallen out by now.
Mae is also an expert and have won multiple awards in this industry. She is a genuine individual who have given me lots of tips to make sure that my lashes would retain longer and recommended me products to use to grow and strengthen my lashes. My experiences so far has been amazing and I would highly recommend Whiplash and any of their services and products as they are of high quality, professional and knowledgeable at their jobs.

I have been coming to Mae for many years now and I am so very happy with my lashes. She is very professional and knowledgeable and always does the best job. She knows my lashes and what works for me and is always providing excellent lashes in all the time I’ve been. If you want amazing lashes then Mae at whiplash is your girl. If I could give a 10 star I would as she is simply the best around. You don’t know great lashes unless you’ve had Mae.

Anyone who considers this business take note of the “cancellations policy” apparently you could get into a car crash and this woman would still take your money. Her policy states 3 days notice. My partner and 3 kids had come down with gastro (so it was inevitable that I would get it) I had let her know 2 days prior to my appointment and had asked to RESCHEDULE not cancel! Because that is the RIGHT thing to do. But she couldn’t even do that without taking my deposit. This led to a dispute between the two of us and my goodness, as some of these other reviews I’ve read have said - Maes unprofessionalism is next to none.
Mae would rather have had me come in despite the circumstances of gastro than put my deposit over to another appointment. What does that say about her care of occupational health and safety! I cancelled my appointment in the end because unlike some I would not like to pass any sickness onto anyone else.
Yes, she lashes well but I would never want to support a business where clearly they care more for profit than their actual clients!

Been using whiplash for a few year's now, and wouldn't go anywhere else. I am always happy with my lashes

Highly recommend going to Mae for eyelash extensions. She really looks after my lashes and I'm always happy with the final result. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Came here for a lash lift because of the good reviews but left with a red eye and disappointed with the service provided.

Mae, your response is as nasty and inappropriate as it was when I brought up the issue while I was at your business.

The red eye was caused by your technician misapplying excess primer which seeped into the eye causing irritation. The talking you alluded to was me asking your technician whether it was normal for my eye to be stinging during the lash lift process.

For the health and safety of your customers, I would recommend that instead of trying to divert blame you improve your practices and supervision of your staff.

For your business, the lip mask might be put to better use on you.

Any future customers, think twice before coming here.

I love going to Mae at Whiplash for my eyelash extensions. I have been going for 6 months now and she is extremely professional, safe with the care of my natural lashes, and always makes sure I’m happy with the style of them each time. I’m not just another client, I feel valued and cared about on each visit. As a small business owner myself, I would not hesitate to recommend Mae or any of her team at Whiplash as she prides herself on her work. Her salon is beautiful, always clean and very easy to park at. My advice is to book in advance because she’s that good, she will book out!

Mae is truly the best in the business - she has been doing my eyelashes for 3-4 years now and I really wouldn’t trust anybody else with my lashes. She is so professional and constantly looks for ways to improve and grow her business. She’s also very accommodating to the style I like, whilst also maintaining optimal health for my lashes, which is so important.
