First merc and last merc for me. The experience I received from them Merc sales team is well below standards. My wife had an accident with her Porsche early this year then we decided to buy our first brand new merc. Unlike other luxury brand, They do not have custom made option available for most of their models on the website. Only a few options to choose It felt like we were just buying a second hand car. The online sales team provided us add on option of custom plate service. Yes that’s the only custom service so far. We spent two weeks to finalise the custom plate with the online rep. Once we Signed the contract, From there the service go downhill. Westpoint team received the contract and informed us the custom plate service is not available. Contacted online team no response. After heaps of hustle including resigning contract to remove add on service, we finally receive our car. Only a few weeks later, we noticed the window screen wash had never been added in. Contacted the sales rep no response. It is the worst new car purchase experience I had so far. If anyone wants to own your custom new car with good service, don’t choose Mercedes it will only let you down.

Great service sales side worst service servicing side no contact picked my vehicle up the white leather trim on both doors had grease marks and dirt hand marks won’t be buying another Mercedes Service side is a circus

Highly Recommend you ask for Duncan McPherson when shopping around for a car - Lovely gentleman and very friendly, puts the customer first and ensures you have an overall great experience. He has a vast knowledge of the cars and walks you through all the features and any concerns he follows up for you

Sales team are arrogant and unhelpful. I was actually shocked at how bad the service is when you actually want to buy a car considering the price.
Pleased to say, sales team at BMW were only too happy to help and very happy with my new BMW.

I would like to say thank you to WestPoint Star Mercedes Benz dealership, for what they done regarding to my purchasing process.
I hired third party (pre purchase inspection) to be sure all mechanical and electrical side of the car functioning properly.the result of third party came out positive and No issues found.
However, WestPoint workshop inspection found issue with rear suspension. They ordered the parts and planed to change out the parts as part of their obligation. Meanwhile, they provide me a vehicle while my car is waiting for parts (outstanding job form WestPoint Star).
however, I had to cancel my purchase due to some circumstances.
Appreciated Duncan and his manager for their great customer service.
5star for sure.

Will NEVER buy a Mercedes again. Car not even 2 years old when entire cylinder head had to be replaced. Car was in for over 8 weeks whilst I was provided with a substandard replacement vehicle. Not only that but given a $2,500 excess in case of accident. Got a chip in the windscreen on the Highway (not my fault) and now they want to charge me $1100 to replace it when if I had been driving my car I would only have a $100 excess. No consideration for putting me out for over 8 weeks after selling me a dud car and now extorting money out of me because of their substandard vehicle failing.
Don’t waste your money!

I recently found a Mercedes key on the verge outside my house. Given that modern vehicle keys are paired to a specific vehicle I took it to Westpoint and requested they "read" the key so I could return it to its owner. The guy at the front desk told me this was not possible. Really? I suspect that would do Westpoint out of the chance to sell the car owner a new key. Anyway, I found the owner of the key via Facebook and returned it to them. Unfortunately they had gone ahead and ordered a new key from Westpoint at a cost of $1500!

This review is for the service we received from Jonathan.a very professional and knowledgable salesperson who spent 2hrs (maybe more) showing us through the range. He was a pleasure to deal with and although we ended up buying from a different brand, we would highly recommend Jonathan to anyone looking to shop at Westpoint.

My advice to anyone buying a Merc from Westpoint Star is to save yourself the anguish and disappointment if anything goes wrong with your car. They're very good at selling you the car but if anything goes wrong with it then you have to pay $300 for a diagnostic check before they will do anything for you. My car is 4 years old, 39,000 kms and the radio, Bluetooth, reversing cameras have stopped working and even though I have been told they just need to run it through a reprogram they won't do that unless you pay them $300 +GST. I cannot believe after paying such a high price for a Merc that they won't reprogram it for free. Well my next car will not be a Merc that's for sure which is a shame because they are beautiful cars to drive.

The cars are great, however their service approach needs to be modernised!

They insist on multiple phone calls a day, and when email or text was requested, they still call multiple times! The sales approach seems to be geared towards older male buyers.

Also a few mistakes on the paperwork so be very careful!

Claudine from West Point star is such an asset! Claudine is extremely knowledgeable and her customer service is second to none. We recently purchased an new amg gle 53 coupe and not only did we get a great deal, nothing was ever a problem for her and she always went above and beyond.
