West End Deli reviews
62Tiny portion sizes and expensive prices sums it up. Masquerading as been sophisticated and modern but ultimately it's the image you pay for and not the substance.
I usually go here for my morning coffees, as they're the best here among other cafes nearby. The bakery items are great too. Their mini donuts are worth a mention.
The Italian boy that helped us was amazing! He made our experience great mikel was his name!
Thank you!
If I could give zero stars I would.
The big/full breakfast was not worth $25, it was neither big nor full, speck bacon all fatty, quarter of a tomato raw and cold, one hash brown from a packet, three button mushrooms cut in quarters and deep fried, one piece of cold sourdough toast.
The only good thing I can say is the poached eggs were cooked perfectly.
Nice location. Parking in the surrounding streets is manageable. The staff are keen to help. Serving sizes are on the small side for the money. Added an extra star just for the thick cut bacon which is the stand out item. Do check the bill for extra items.
Looks inviting. Coffee was only average, I found it bitter. I also ordered sourdough toast with preserves. 2 tiny slices of toast! $13- I won't be coming back here unfortunately.
Food was ok, but the coffees were ordered 10 minutes before the food and were served 15 minutes after the food arrived. A little disappointing.
Delicious eggs bene on a smoked potato and quinoa cake with paprika hollandaise and kale. Try the new menu - modern meets delicious
Would not recommend the food at this place. Received water glasses that had lipstick stains on them (they did apologize for it). Ordered medium steak which when it came was over cooked including the potato and veg that were on the plate. There were so many other issues so I would definitely give this place a pass. But on a positive note mimosas where great and so was the service with friendly staff.
I could not respond to the response, but unfortunately no I didn't come up for payment. My two girlfriends paid, but I was not part of them. I think they were also trying to be polite. But I hope this review does help with your improvements x Best wishes cc
Not sure if West End Delhi has changed ownership, but reassuringly the food is still delicious here! There was a intriguing selection of baguettes on the menu along with more significant options. Will visit again!
My favourite place to go. Lovely location, excellent staff and in my opinion one of the best breakfast and lunch menus in Perth. Solid coffee too. Highly recommend.
Omelette minus the crab.add thick cut bacon.just the shot for a sunday breaky. Oh. The coffee was fantastic too.
Excellent experience, great, fresh food, good drinks range, smooth vibes, relaxed/comfortable atmosphere, not too pricey, very friendly staff, will be back!
What a great place for lunch. Go for the steak if your hungry, you won’t be disappointed! Lots of really nice sandwiches also.
Great staff and great food! However, if you’re not a fan of salt like me, I know it’s rare, you might want to ask them to go a bit easy on salt.
The toasts are great as well and they have their own bakery, I’d recommend getting bread from them as well.
Waitress took our order and then went on break I think. Therefore we waited just under 25 mins for coffee. Apart from that it was great food and coffee.
What a joke. They refused to do split billing "on a weekend" even though last time we came here they allowed it, which was the reason we booked there. Won't be coming back.
Service was very good. Friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they had run out of baguettes which was disappointing. Tried the BLT and again disapointed, using fatty pork belly meant the flavour was not pleasant. Otherwise other food was fresh and good.
Really nice ambience.
Food was tasty, open kitchen was good for foodies.
Service was prompt and polite.
Price is reasonable given the portion size.
Great everything. From the staff to the food. A regular menu update that keeps things interesting. A little on the upmarket side when it. Comes to price. A lot on the upmarket side when it comes to produce. They use the best of the best. The blood pudding is out of this world. I've never had anything like it
