Weirs Butchers

We don’t often cook meat at home, but when we do, we get it from Weirs. It’s our favourite butcher in Perth. We don’t live very close to the shop but the quality is so good it’s worth travelling to Nedlands for!

I guarantee this is the best butcher shop in Australia. The meat is high quality at affordable prices and the staff actually care about their customers. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough.

Very disappointed with the Glazed Christmas ham purchased this week. Appearance excellent, but that’s where it ended. Tasteless, grainy & dry.
Expensive for size.
Not nearly as good as have received in the past.

I could not believe my good fortune when, after my original caterer called to say he would no longer cater for my birthday event, I was told about Weir's. At a much lower cost they gave me nearly twice the amount of top quality dishes, meat and non-meat. The variety of the entrées, and deliciousness of both mains, as well as dessert, were out of this world. Thank you, Weir's. It was truly memorable!

Mark and the boys at absolute legends! Nothing is a hassle, and they are really great with prepping meat so it's ready to go at home. They'll often dice up something for a stir-fry or curry or make sure the roast is exactly the size I need it, which is super convenient. I also love that everything is always super fresh and excellent quality. And they have literally everything, right down to bones for stocks. The deli section has any last minute bits you might need like gee or bbq rubs. Even after moving a couple suburbs away, I still do all of my shopping for the family at Wiers. Highly recommend!

We were introduced to Weirs about a year ago and it has since become our go-to butcher. The quality of the meat is excellent and the range is great too – whether you want to cook up a storm yourself, or pickup one of their ready-to-go meals to put in the oven. In the colder months they do a delicious meatloaf. In addition, they are a family business who are very focussed on quality customer service.

SUPER dissapointed!

Walked into this place excited to find a great looking butcher with what looked like good quality meats.

We picked up the honey, pepper and lamb pie and a kg of the premade stirfry.

The pie was overly salty and peppery and the gravy was like jelly. The sauce itself didn't taste good at all. Not a tasty pie by any means. The one plus was that the meat was tender.

Hoping that the stirfry would be better, we cooked it up the night after and it had the same problems: incredibly salty and peppery and the flavour was not good. The meat was okay!

Will not come back here and will not recommend!

Great selection of high quality produce and such friendly staff. I forgot to order my Weirs Christmas ham (which incidentally is the best ham you can get!) and they were so helpful and accommodating even offering to glaze a spare one for me on Christmas Eve an hour before the shop was due to close!

I’m so lucky that I live right round this corner from this butcher shop. The quality of the meat is top notch and the customer service is second to none.

I gave a four star because I've found hair in my crumbed chicken, and my friend also found hair on the same product. So I've stopped buying any crumbed chicken from here but everything else is great.

Some people want a social excursion to satisfy their insecurities. Other people want a butcher.

I picked up my Turkey this morning and was shocked to see when I got home it was cooked! I checked the order form to see that is what I ordered, by mistake. I phone Weirs and they took back the cooked one and gave me a fresh one. All in Christmas Eve. What great service.

Definitely in my top 3 pick for pies in WA. Beautiful rich gravy, tender meat and excellent pastry that holds up well. Nice work guys!

The old bald butcher is a total tosser, no sence of humor doesn't smile and has a attitude, gets the big thumbs down from me.

Went here the other day as was having some mates over for a BBQ. Great range of meats and excellent customer service. Definitely will be going back!
