Vines Cafe And Bar reviews
43 The service provided by Kiera was amazing. Kiera helped us to make a decision with the lunch menu. Her suggestions was spot on. Her professionalism and enthusiasm was unbelievable. True management quality.
The vines should be truly proud to have such a wonderful employee.
Thank you. You have made us feel very welcome. For that we will definitely be returning to the Vines Cafe.
Could be so much better. Had a pizza, side of chips and a coke. Came to nearly 50 dollars. It has got really expensive. Staff behind the bar are less than attentive too. Literally just take their time before turning from their own conversations to provide service. Felt ignored. Pity we live in the area and it used to be a bit of a regular spot for us. Would be a nice to stay local but prefer to go elsewhere now.
Food was good quality and quantity. The bar had a pub feel with some background music but lacked atmosphere. Had one fly that wanted us as friends.
Food was delicious, customer services was good. Staffs was friendly. The location is good.
The place is definitely over priced in terms of food and service. Also, the atmosphere needs some attention in the outside area.
Getting tired and doesn't offer anything special. Like all golf resorts I guess they struggle for money
Average. Food was hit and miss but more miss with raw seafood served the first night. Ordered room service the second and the chips arrived cold. Chicken skewers were nice breast chunks one time then got served literally 2 of the coles or wollies dollar skewers the next time. Zero entertainment offered at night time during summer. Staff service was good.
The place has beautiful views of nature and kangaroos and quiet enjoyed the mini golf however we ordered the steak medium rare which was $40-$45 and was well done and chewy and the suace that comes with it was just watery powder. Nice place to come to maybe for a drink but would deffs have a feed elsewhere before coming here.
Update the detail of my friend’s food poisoning after the husband sent me the details with Perth time (apologies I thought they had lunch on 18 Jan but they actually had dinner at your restaurant on 17 Jan).
“We paid at 5: 11pm $83.25 and ordered
Fish taco
Chorizo and chicken pasta
Fish and chips
Thai beef salad
Two sprite drinks
Not sure what table number.
So 5: 11pm sick at 12: 30am.
Fish taco is the only food she ate other than the aeroplane food which we all ate and didn’t get sick. ”
Check out food poisoning information from online (you will find many by searching online, different germs have different times to make you feel sick).
Time to feel sick:
30 minutes to 8 hours
Nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, diarrhea
* Germ: Staphylococcus aureus (Staph food poisoning)
* Common food sources: Foods that are not cooked after handling, such as sliced meats, puddings, pastries, and sandwiches
Great place to eat after a round of golf or mini golf. Food is good quality and great variety of pub food. Alcohol selection is great a bit for everyone.
Worst parmi I’ve ever had for the price I paid, could’ve went dining with a homeless man and had better
Food was excellent
However some members of staff seem to have a 5 iron wedged firmly up their rear.
I absolutely LOVED their chicken fettuccine pasta! Was super delicious and was a really great mix of meat/mushrooms to pasta!
Service was decent even on busy days.
Generally unfriendly & overworked staff. Overpriced, average (at best) food. Unimpressed with the experience. A lack of flavour, thought and care.
I got a lot of mixed feelings with this place. There have been times when it’s good and times when it’s been absolutely terrible to the point I don’t finish my meal. The last time I went was terrible, the garlic bread didn’t taste like garlic bread, it tasted just like toast. The parmigiana I got was terrible, it was so small and tasted really bland with no flavour. Please hire a new chef.
Last call is 8: 30 regardless of what the menu says. Cooks finish by 9, not last call at 9 like the servers said. Foods pretty good though, and the servers are a bit slow, but young and friendly enough, so no fault there. Good enough pours for A$14 a cocktail.
Food was good, however, service was atrocious, well lack there of but worst of all was management I don't know how a restaurant run like that doesn't get complaints everyday. Won't be going back
(I don't usually bother with reviews but save you the waste of time)
If you like pizza that’s worse than McCain’s from the box and cost nearly $30, you’ll love the Vines Cafe and Bar
We were staying at the Vines for a couple of nights mid week. Not much choice where to go for dinner.but as far as "pub food" goes, this is pretty good. Not a lot of choice on the menu but it is cooked well and tasty. Drinks are a little on the expensive side.
Even though it was busy at the cafe, it was great to sit down and have a coffee. Without the hussle and bussle.
