Always happy to head here for a meal and never disappointed with what is served. Fantastic staff and delicious every time, whether it is eat in or take-away.

Excellent food and friendly owners! Be aware it is true they are more Asian fusion than Vietnamese, but great nonetheless.

Takeaway Light lunch option for us on a Sunday. First time customers & enjoyed. Nice selection menu & prices are reasonable. My partner & I decided just to order a selection of entrees to share. We chose a few selections of the vegetarian entrees- veg samosas, spring rolls, prawn wrapped in bacon & battered then deep fried (which were very tasty) & prawns in pastry deep fried. All were very nice & well filled. Not too heavy with the pastry or batter and not oily either. Proper good sized prawns to.

Like the other reviews have already said there are no Vietnamese dishes (on the lunch menu at least)! They mostly serve other asian dishes from Malay and Thai background. We had pad Thai and mee Goreng but they lack authentic flavour (or any flavour at all really). The only positives were the service and generous serving sizes.

Nothing viet about this place, except the store name and the deco. Y’all should change your store name to FusionRoyal. Not even a pho, what a disappointment.

The best Asian food in East Perth. Vegetables are always fresh. They serve with a smile and has never let us down.

Lost count of how many times we have been there. We keep going back as the food is super fresh, the service is spot on and the owners are such lovely people. Oh - and the price. No better value in Perth! What more do you need?

Don't be fooled by the name, you will find no Pho or many Vietnamese dishes whatsoever. They do have a range of other Southeast Asian dishes, mostly a re-combination of the same ingredients, definitely not very authentic For example, our Tom Kha was almost indistinguishable from the Tom Yum - which are very different when authentically prepared; likewise the caramelized pork was almost identical to the Mongolian lamb dish, save the meat used. Positive points: large and delicious pieces of Lamb were used, there were free shrimp crackers at the start, portions we're relatively large.

Really great service and the food came out fast and was very delicious. Would highly recommend and not hesitate to come back for more.

We eat here often and always go for the same meals but have recently tried a few different dishes and WOW! The freshness and flavours of every dish is gorgeous! The quality of service and affordable price range is a added bonus.cannot recommend enough!

Always happy with Viet Royal's food. Friendly efficient. A family favourite and they are still cooking when other local restaurants have closed the kitchen. Great fish in ginger sauce.
