Viet Royal Restaurant

I always enjoy a wonderful meal at Viet Royal Restaurant. The food is both delicious and affordably priced, with quick service and generous portion sizes. The standout, however, is the incredibly friendly lady serving with genuine warmth. Viet Royal is a gem that combines great taste, value for money, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

After 15 years away from East Perth coming back for dinner, the food still delicious. I had chooche fish, crispy chicken plum sauce and garlic rice, amazing, owner friendly (Nick)

It was ok once I get my head around the fact that it's not Vietnamese aside from its name. The massaman curry was good one time but a bit bland the next. The choochee fish was nice and the fried chicken and sizzling prawns were delicious.

We had such an excellent meal here we came back the next night to try more dishes. Great quality, very fresh ingredients and friendly service.

The food and service was nice. However, we were overcharged on the bill against the stated prices on her menu. The lady at the restaurant confessed over charging and gave the excuse that her rent has gone up and hence overcharged. Please ask for the Bill and do not trust their verbal billing. We felt cheated,

The beer was cold, the host was friendly, the food was good, but not awesome.
The penang chicken was excellent, the fried rice, mei goreng were average and the rice noodles were above average.
Not authentic.but still tasty.

Possibly the best food we’ve ever tasted. Fresh variety in each dish. The ginger prawn was amazing and the special rice, perfectly cooked. All at a reasonable price.

I live across the road I love when the woman cooks or gets us heaps chicken and sauce for our satay chicken we love it thank U. Karis

Food was really good.
The waitress was sour, disdainful and rude.
Sadly, the place, the night we visited, was understaffed. However it was not bustling and our's was the largest group.
The waitress started mumbling from the start when she realized that our group of 10 will not be going in for their banquet. She then went onto complain that we were making it hard for her by ordering more food! One would think a restaurant would like to have the patrons order to their satisfaction. Further, she forgot some of the orders, then when reminded, she complained. My wife got up and helped her write down the orders and we even told her we were not interested in split billing. Nothing could improve either her mood or her service. She only smiled when collecting the money.
There are so many other restaurants serving equally tasty food, why would we need to tolerate insolence in return for our hard-earned cash?

If you are looking for fresh cooked-to-order authentic Vietnamese food.this is the place to go!

I've tried many throughout Perth and this is by far the best!

From the moment you arrive you are greeted with a smile and seated at a comfortable and clean table and instantly provided with prawn crackers and a carafe of water.

The restaurant is spacious and somewhat quiet for a Vietnamese restaurant, but please don't be put off!

You will receive excellent customer service, unbelievably yummy food!

The portions are GENEROUS and the ingredients are FRESH!

The dishes have fresh beans, broccoli, Red capsicum, carrot, onion, cabbage and more.all cooked to perfection from scratch!

I love the spicy chicken dish.number 49 I think?

And the garlic prawns dish.omg they are amazing!

A cracking Mongolian lamb & king prawns in the special fried rice. Delicious meal & good value, I’ll be back.

One of the worst dining experiences we have had in Perth, service was woeful and they were far from busy, yelling in kitchen which carried into restaurant, food average, another patron commented to us it was like faulty towers, and also forgot one of our dishes, which they had given to another table, then when it came back he proceeded to give to them again, honestly hopeless, and also gave us cutlery from the head of fork and spoon, how about Health and safety regs, the whole experience was tragic

Very generous servings, freshly cooked, great value for money. Ordered mixed vegetables and the variety of vegies was perfect, tasted great and was cooked to crunchy perfection. Good customer service also, will definitely be back:)

It was a really disappointing experience the food was poor the service even worse. Avoid this place

Really nice vegetarian stir fry's! Only down side is this restaurant doesn't do Pho. Very nice decor inside. I parked up the street opposite the park.

A very quiet corner on the main road, their menu is impressive and the food tastes great. Nice customer service.
