66It was a great little pub experience. The bangers and mash were excellent. Boutique beer so be prepared for a tasting treat
The ambiance was great, serves were generous, the quality of food and price was average.we only had one dish and garlic bread, so hard to make a full assessment. There was a microbrewery attached, but it was closed.we went on a week day early lunch, however are keen to go back on a weekend, evening.
Brewery food overpriced. Had a steak at the Tavern and not cooked the way 3 of us ask.
Staff are happy to help you and getting drinks was easy. Just need to look at pricing and things will be good. Nice venue.
It's not often that I can't eat the food that's been placed in front of me, but when I order a pulled meat dish, I expect it to be meat and not full of gelatinous material due to the cut of meat.that was the excuse given by the waitress after she spoke to the cook. No apology, no offer of a replacement, or a free drink. I would not recommend the food here based on that experience. I won't be returning.
