Food was as per menu description and was very good. Prompt meal service and friendly helpful staff. Was very busy from midday on.

I love it here! It's not really modern inside but it's neat, clean, homely and brimful of character. The staff are always friendly, the food is always quick and tastes great. The beers are mainly from Whitelakes brewery next door but this is a great range to choose from and there are always a couple of others available on tap.
The views from balcony are fantastic, especially during the warmer months and there is a bit of parking available too. I highly recommend it as the whole package just resonates with me.

Went here for the first time today - only had a couple of starters and Belgian style Wheat Beer's. Place was great and staff very friendly. The Wheat Beer was good, and the starters where awesome. Weather was a bit cold, but staff brought out gas heaters which was nice.
Will definitely be back.

We sat in the brewery side. Beautiful food in a beautiful setting. Excellent service and a great place for kids to play on the grass out in the front. Perfect spot for a sunny day.

It's a nice location with nice drinks. Paid $26for a sort of Mexican taco meal, +$6 for extra beef. What arrived was a small salad with 2 (yes only 2) corn chips and 2 teaspoons of beef. The meal tasted ok, but would barely have been an entree size, not to mention a full size meal. Not impressed with the serving size. Won't be back.

Love this pub! Great to watch a nice Perth sunset whilst drinking one of their many brewed on site beers, which in itself is enough of a reason to check it out. But tried the ‘smokers platter for two’ last night. And WOW! Absolute perfection on a plate. Amazing. Will make this my regular from now on.

Absolutely shocking experience. Our first time here we have driven past this venue many times and thought we would give it a try. After finding a seat int eh tavern and heading to the bar, we were greeted with "no, you can't order food because we share the kitchen with next door and we're busy". Advised half hour wait before we can even order, so we waited, we get it, hings can get busy for various reasons. However, everytime we asked for un update, approx 20 mins at a time, the same thing was said "about half hour". So we left with empty stomachs, can't imagine how kuch money the venues lost as we seen other people share the same anguish with free beers for those that had managed to order food. A real shame as place looks nice and menu looked decent, however we will be taking out hard earned $$ elsewhere for service. Precaution, if car park overflow is busy, be prepared for a similar experience as the large venue next door (whitelakes brewery) is catered for by the same 1 kitchen. Maybe book in advance for better service? Very disappointed indeed.

Called in for a quick pint and a snack. Had a pint of Berties Cider. Not overly impressed. Nothing like the Stowford Press they used to have a few years ago. Also had a bowl of chips and chicken wings. The unpeeled chips were revolting. It looked like there were warmed up from the previous night and that's all they were just warm. The chicken wings, where do I start. Chicken was tasteless as was the breadcrumbs that was on them, if it wasn't for the chilli dip it would have been like eating cardboard. I used to love going there but it will be a while before I rush back.

I had been here a few years ago for a family lunch to celebrate a birthday and had no complaints at all. Food and service was great. Went there on 18th April for another birthday lunch and had the total opposite experience. Booked a table for 1pm. Our table wasn't prepared so we were all sat on stools at a big table next to the bar. We ordered drinks and looked at our menus. When we went to order our meals the girl at the bar informs us that the chef has told them not to take any more food orders for another 30 minutes, and that there would be an hour and a half wait on food after ordering. That would mean we might get our lunch by 3pm! We finished our drinks and left. Customers expect to get good service. It isn't our fault you don't have a big enough kitchen or enough staff to service the tavern and the brewery beer garden! I won't bother going back there again unless I hear from somebody else that they have lifted their game. Word of mouth can lose or gain a lot of business.just saying.

Great pub, excellent food, wonderful service, I would recommend to anyone, especially if you get a seat on the balcony and watch the sunset

Didn't dine here was fully booked indoors at lunch time. They couldn't open outdoor area due to heavy rain. Looks like a great place to dine and relax.

Travelling with a small animal, unfortunately we were unable to enjoy a meal. Lots of open air space, so disappointed.

Nice looking venue but that's the nicest thing I can say. 2 steaks that were meant to be medium and on the bone came over well done and were a little sandwich steak with no bone in sight and the burger was raw and cold.after complaining they were happy to refund the burger but the chef said he wouldn't refund or replace the steaks as to him they were fine. Eventually they were refunded but I would not recommend going there

Nice looking place but that's about all the positives I can offer.
Followed the wait person all over the place until we found out table. Weren't told that you had to order at the bar.figured that out after a bit. Person that took our order was obviously new and didn't know what Moscato was. Dirty water glasses on the table but no water provided. 2 meals came out, the rest came out nearly 10 minutes later. Two burger orders had the extras mixed up but we sorted it ourselves. Fish and chips were VERY disappointing. Salad was warm. Fish was tasteless, dry and over cooked with burnt tasting batter. Chips were ok. Menus said the fish and chips came with tartar sauce but we got aoili. When we questioned it we were told that the meal had changed but they hadn't updated the menu. 10 minutes later, the same person told us that they were busy, had run out out and didn't have time to make more. Over priced for what it was and very disappointing. Not going back.

5 stars for the view and the beer. Best Location in Baldivis.
-2 stars for the food and service.
Never been a fan of the food, it is very hit and miss. More miss if I'm honest.
Wouldn't hurt for the girls behind the bar to make eye contact or smile. They look miserable and unwelcoming.

This review was previously 5 stars, my family and I have eaten here many times over the last 10 years, unfortunately been reduced to 3 stars and is only saved by the range of beers which I feel are great, but the food has become very expensive (for pub food) and really not cooked that well.
I had the porterhouse wich was 40 dollars! Hint- if you are charging 40 bucks for a steak you need to get it right every time.
Vegetarian taco bowl 26 dollars! And is served cold (who eats cold rice)
Steak sandwich was very average as well. Unfortunately wony be going back to eat until there is a menu / price change.

Meals have went downhill, went last night and everyone left their meal half eaten, either over cooked or cold

Great venue, the White Lakes beers themselves are very good. I'd recommend the Black beer if that's what you're into. The food selection is rather limited standard pub fair, so don't expect too much.

Brilliant service & great range of beers distilled from the brewery. John n co always provide exceptional service at any of their venues. Can't wait to drop in again!
