Our Vasse Felix experience was one of the best food restaurants I have experienced. From the very knowledgeable staff to the amazing flavours in the food to the beautiful wine. I love different food on a menu to choose from and this is what the menu provided. Thank you Vasse Felix for a wonderful lunch and thank you to the staff for making our experience with smiles and some banter enjoyable.

We celebrated my 50th birthday over lunch & couldn't be happier to add this experience to a perfect birthday getaway. Melanie at reception was just the start of our sublime stay & with James bringing out the culinary delights, it felt like we could stay there all day long. It's a must do when thinking of coming this way. Be sure to book!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 40th anniversary lunch at Vasse Felix. The expertise and innovative food preparation was superb. Cleary a chef at the height of artistry and enthusiasm for the profession. The quality of wine was also excellent and the waiting staff, especially Philippe, was outstanding.

We had the tasting menu today, it was outstanding! The food was superb and the wait staff were so helpful and hospitable, especially Lisa.

The stand out items on the menu for me was the kangaroo and the tooth fish, and this is just being very picky because every thing was just so good!

Highly recommended and we would certainly be back!

We had an amazing lunch today - food excellent and above all the service was absolute quality. It’s been a while since we’ve felt unrushed in a restaurant. Great experience - hard to choose between the set menu and a la carte. 2 did each - amazing. Highly recommended

We had a large table of varying ages for a family Sunday lunch. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Service was excellent. Beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

The Chef has put his soul into the food that he has prepared. The complexity and layers of flavours in every dish highlights how the produce are accentuated by the combination of sides and sauces, but yet preserve the natural goodness of the primary ingredient. Kangaroo, Toothfish, ox-tongue, and the pork dishes were amazing.
The Cellar door was generous in allowing tasting on the full range of wines. The whites, in particular the SB blends standout. The Cab Sav flight outshone thecl Shiraz.

We tried the tasting menu. The food was exquisite and perfectly complemented with VF wines. The setting is amazing and the service first class. What an impressive experience!

Wonderful lunch with friends. I had perfectly cooked kangaroo with saltbush followed by lamb loin with radicchio and we shared a bottle of VF Cabernet. Outstanding venue, service, food and wine - and our visit to the gallery before lunch was also enjoyable. Highly recommended.

My husband and I came for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were beyond impressed. With incredible views, delicious wines and phenomenal, tasty food to match it’s easy to see why Vasse has won copious awards. Not to mention the service- we couldn’t fault it. We will be back, a lot. We had the tasting menu lunch with matched wines. Excellent food and pairings, plus delightful staff. Clare at the cellar door was excellent, plus good to see Rhys on his first day at the cellar door.

Me and my wife just got married and decided to have Vasse Felix' wine tour as part of our mini honeymoon. The tour was very informative and in depth, we were very impressed at how knowledgeable the staff are and they seem to love their roles. We were shown how the vineyards started, up to the fermentation process in different vessels like barrels and whatnot. We definitely learned a lot today about the art of making wine, and all the thought and effort into curating one of Margaret Rivers famous wine brands. We had the 5-course meal and oh boy did we love the food! The scallops were amazing, almost ceviche style. The lamb was melting in our mouths complimented by the XO sauce and smoked milk froth. And the toothfish is also a must! Everything was delicious! The service staff were all very friendly and they made sure we had a great time! Shout out to Megan, Tim, and Emma for making our visit a very memorable one. Highly recommend to any wine and food connoisseur out there!

Experienced and friendly staff. Lovely drops of wine. Great tasting variety. Spent a little bit but definitely worthwhile. Will be enjoying great wine this Christmas and will be laying some down for the future.

Wonderful wine, food and winery. But what stood out the most was the customer service, outstanding at every touchpoint. Every staff member is professional and attentive and they go that extra mile to make you feel special.

Has to be my favourite restaurant in WA. This place gets things absolutely right. From the smiling welcome to the gorgeous food and well-priced wine, you really can’t go wrong. Been here five times, and will certainly be looking forward to the next visit.

We had a wonderful lunch for our 10th anniversary - not rushed through a 3.5hr experience of their menu as we chose the tasting menu. They happily replaced a course for my wife who has some seafood allergies too.

When I go for these sorts of menus I’m looking for tastes and foods I don’t normally have and it didn’t disappoint. The Beef-fat milk with the lamb was a highlight, as was the entire tooth fish course.

Delightful food, along with fantastic wine. And great knowledge amongst the various staff that served us throughout.

Chef Brendan Pratt is an absolute food genius! My wife and I experienced the Tasting Menu in September and were so overwhelmed by the creativity and above all, the taste and texture sensations of each course that we decided to visit again in November to relive the experience. Every course is a masterpiece in its own right, but special mention should be made of the bao bun snacks (the cuttlefish ink version with the seafood emulsion was our favourite), the lamb (in XO sauce, wrapped in radicchio and surrounded by a milk foam) and the toothfish wrapped in seaweed, served with a generous portion of béarnaise and a ridiculously good spring onion/cavolo nero mix that had been cooked on a hibachi. It’s not often that food overwhelms you emotionally, but I can honestly say that Brendan managed to engender a feeling of excitement, and absolute fulfilment with every dish we tasted. Beyond the food, the restaurant and the Vasse Felix surrounds are special in their own right, as are the staff. On both occasions we were fortunate enough to be served by staff who were friendly, knowledgeable and looked like they actually enjoyed working at Vasse Felix. We can't wait for our next visit and certainly recommend the restaurant to anyone who appreciates incredibly good food. The wine isn't half bad either!
