Varsity Waterford reviews
47My friend and I ordered an unpleasant meal, emailed the manager he offered us a voucher but never actually gave us the voucher or refund. Poor customer service
The food was ok. For THAT price I can get a really good vegan burger elsewhere. I mean, it was tasty, but not worth the price. The patty just fell apart and was hard to eat. The chips were not good. I love chips, but I couldn't even finish them they were so bad.
Good bar, great burgers, they were happy to on the NRL on for me too so 5 out of 5 definitely will come back, and definitely recommend the bacon double cheeseburger
Love this place. Good authentic American themed bar/restaurant. Love the deep fried gherkins and the chilli dog goes alright 2
Varsity have definitely upped their game, with the addition of gluten free and vegan options there’s something for everyone now. I had the “fun guy” pizza which was amazing from the base to the toppings. The beef in the burgers was perfectly cooked and the classic cheeseburger received a refreshing varsity spin with their own mayo in place of the standard mustard and tomato sauce.
They also have a great selection of craft beers spirits available, and of course plenty of American soft drinks to suit the theme.
Restaurant is clean and fitted out nicely for sporting events. Upstairs is super chilled out but the music was a bit loud up there.
Good food, good drinks and a good view of the tv wherever you sit. They have a few games that are great to keep the kids occupied too
They really need to update the upholstery on their booths. Torn, weathered, ripped vinyl that scratched my legs and to be honest, looks terrible and cheap. Like a derro pub in a bogan suburb. Food ok. Wouldn't go again.
