Great atmosphere. Taco & pizza are nice. Kids love the super smoothies, but they are too sweet for me.

Fabulous discovery of this awesome burger joint. Will be on the look out for more of these outlets next time we're up in Perth.

As an American I approve of the double cheeseburger on behalf of my country. Good food and cheap drinks during happy hour.

A pretty busy place occasionally running pub quizzes. Has an American sports bar feel to it and serves chicken wings with devil sauce (beware!). Overall, it is a decently fun place, but personally not in to sport bars, and the place looks quite worn down. Chicken wings were okay.

A great venue for superb and very varied burgers. They do pizzas and chicken wings as well but burgers are their main thing I think. My deluxe cheeseburger (forget Macca's cheeseburger, it's nothing remotely like that) was superb, meat was tender and a great bun, chips were really top notch too. Great atmosphere in the place with lots of areas to sit, large tv screens and a "gaming" area. Lots of great beer on tap too. I'll be going back when I'm in the area. Lots of parking in the shopping centre.

Gets 5* even though a lady spazzed on me because she walked into me and spilt her drink and it was somehow my fault. She needs urgent deportation.

Food quality is quite good for American-style pub fare. Wide range of options for people with dietary restrictions, which is great for going out in groups. Especially good selection of vegetarian pub options.

I was at Varsity Nedlands tonight at 9pm and I was surprised with the opening hours. I have been there many times after this time and the kitchen was working normally. I checked the opening time on theirs websites and there was any information about it. Their website the time is until 10pm. Any information about kitchen time. So I decided to go to another Varsity. They said there are 3 Varsity opening until late. Of course the place was closing. The kitchen was closed and one more time I was frustrated. It’s very curious because around 2 weeks ago they were closing 11pm. If you check Google or their website the time is 11pm and 10pm. Including some locations close 12am on Google. No make sense at all the summer is coming and World Cup starting and they decide closing ealier.

The Varsity food menu offers gluten-free and vegan options. This is great because I'm a coeliac, but I do have other food allergies (anaphylaxis to nuts and seeds). I was tempted to try one of the burgers, but the gluten-free bun has sesame seeds, so that is not an option. Instead, I tried the gluten-free nachos, which was very good. I would recommend this meal.
I would give 5-stars if a seed-free plain brioche bun was offered as the gluten-free option for the burgers.
Coeliacs usually have other food allergies too. It would be great to see the allergens listed on the menu.

‘Tried’ to visit Varsity Nedlands today while visiting my son who attends UWA and we are from the country. The Varsity is close by as we were time constrained. We arrived at 11am and a female employee slid the barricade across and said they were open. We entered the bar and sat at a table. The bar manager Rob saw us and was extremely rude and accused us of moving the barrier and entering the bar unlawfully. I tried to explain that the other employee had let us in. He continued to be extremely rude so we left and went somewhere else. Arrogant and rude bar manager that is causing this great bar to lose customers and we will never return. Visiting this establishment totally marred my long awaited visit with my son. Disgraceful and distressing experience.

Ordered for pick up. Had to wait over 10 extra minutes, our drinks were missing, and food was pretty average and cold even though it should have been fresh since we had to wait. Was also told we can't get a refund unless we go in, even though we paid online. Not overly impressed.

Ordered a 6.50 lemon lime and butters and it tasted like Soda water. UNACCEPTABLE But the boneless chicken wings were absotooly fabulouse! 10/10 will order again!

Sloppy Joe burger
The burger was mouth watering and the shake was good, wasn't too keen on the deep fried pickles.

American style bar, friendly service and great outdoor seating.

Will definitely be back for a Sloppy Joe Burger.

Shucking rude customer service from the 2 ladies serving our group of 4, food was average to top it off, worst varsity I’ve visited by far

Love this place! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They have pool tables, air hockey and lots of other games too which can keep adults and small humans entertained, and their kids meals are great value too.

Had a horrible experience. My sister and I were kicked out AFTER ordering because one of us didn’t have ID when we didn’t even order alcohol? Just a burger and coke each. We had to transfer our meals/drinks into take away containers ourselves and it was a very inhospitable experience. The staff member was super rude and blamed me for not seeing the warning message on their website that we’d have to be able to prove our ages- I’ve since checked and still found nothing. I saw no signage in person about having to prove being 18+ to eat. Honestly so ridiculous how we were treated, I’ve been to that location on multiple occasions and never been carded just to eat. Never going back there again. Disgusting.
