Vancouver Street Cafe reviews
67 Fabulous service and a very good lunch. What more could you ask for?
Highly recommended.
Great spot! The staff a lovely, service was great. We loved the gf brownie- would recommend and will be returning!
This was for a Thursday lunch, busy but not crowded, found a table easily. Order some drinks (hot chocolate and a cafe latte) - both passed muster. The Sicillian apple cake was scrumptious. For meals, we had the salt and pepper squid with chips, brekky burger, grilled fish burger and smoked chicken toasted Turkish. Judging by the rate we demolished the food, we had no complaints.
Coffee was amazing! Pancakes were delicious! Ice choc was also amazing! Great cafe to come to, seating was nice and service was great! Definitely coming back here again!
Coffees were delicious however we arrived at a time when they were unable to serve us meals due to lunch breaks. Bit weird I'm guessing they must be short staffed?
Rustic cafe. Friendly staff. Had the lumberjack slice and Bakewell slice. The slices were warmed. Nicely moist and tasted good. Coffee was good as well. Kids had Belgian waffles with bacon and maple syrup. Good sized portions.
Absolutely delicious food! Amazing staff! Thanks guys for really great work and effort during Christmas holidays! Merry Christmas! Will be definitely visiting you once I'm again in Albany!
Had a great Vancouver breakfast,
Amazing coffee made my day, love ya staff; great service, thank you
Loved this hide away cafe. Loved that they did a half serve which was just perfect. It looked so good that I forgot to take a photo! I thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast with mushrooms, spinach, tomato and a poached egg. Just scrumptious ️ Parking can be a little tricky for those that find walking inclines a little hard, but definitely worth it.
My family went to Vancouver's based on the high ratings about a week ago. We had a disappointing experience. We sat at a table that had not been cleared yet. We then ordered and had to ask for the staff to clear the table about 20 minutes later, as it it appeared no one was going to do it. When someone did eventually arrive, they only cleared some of the dirty dishes.
We waited about 40 minutes for coffee and drinks, and an hour for the food. I had the chicken salad. Chicken was light on, but salad was ok. Our other meals were ok. Based on the service and long wait time, we won't be returning.
Great little cafe with a lovely outdoor area on the veranda. My husband and I both had scrambled eggs which were big portions and cooked perfectly. Lovely staff that are friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Albany!
The big breakfast (Vancouver) was a good mans serving and did not disappoint my husband, the 1/2 Vancouver was a great option for me. Lovely atmosphere and great service.
Great Cafe with amazing breakfast and lunch. Lovely owner, convinced us on trying the gluten free chocolate plum cake. Yum!
Came here everyday for Breakfast while in Albany.
An excellent place to spend some time.
Amazing, observant staff. Prepared our shared meal and cake with ease and no trouble. A most satisfying, tasty lunch and coffee experience. A lovely part of Albany too.
Definitely not kid friendly. The staff glared at my kids the whole time. I asked for the cookies when I ordered to give straight away to the kids. The lady rudely said she would bring them out and then didn’t bring them out until everyone else had nearly finished their drinks. Coffee was good but food was poor and way over priced for the quality.
Coffee was divine.we had the breakfast wrap & the breakfast burger which were both HUGE and very very tasty, we went back another day for take away coffee and had a cherry bakewell slice which was amazing. Fantastic gem of a place.
The food was good, the chai latte was nice, however the front staff were “tried to be friendly” seems not greeting genuinely. And they ignored when you left even weren’t busy at all
Such a pretty cafe. They have a funny habit of serving whipped cream With
Croissants, escargots. Friendly, casual homey vibe
Lovely spot away from main street. Great menu and they make a good coffee. Facilities are clean in the restaurant and bathrooms.
I really loved the feel of this place, less bulk service and more real people here.
Disabled access might be tricky as it's on a hill and the space between tables might be tight but I'm sure if you rang them they would help with clear info and maybe a set of hands with the door
Absolutely disgusting seen them abuse there staff there. Like absolutely disgusting attitudes in general anyway. And anyway your food is not good at all.
