We had the steak. It was cooked to perfection. The service provided by the staff was fantastic. In my experience here tonight. You can't go wrong.
Casey the bartender made a fantastic strawberry daquri. Probably the best I've ever had. Thank you to all the staff here.

Chips were swimming in salt, couldn't eat them Waste of $12 i should have sent them back. Food was just average overall unfortunately.staff were friendly and professional though

Food came out after an hour and tables were not cleaned when people left or still sitting there. Cannot recommend pretty disappointed

It was great beer and excellent service, but both the steaks were nearby inedible. They were possibly the worst steaks we have had for many years. Tough as boot leather even though they were cooked to medium. My wife's one was also mostly gristle. On a good note the chips were well cooked. Basically paid for a small salad and some chips. Had a really nice burger only a few days ago so we were extremely disappointed with this offering.

This was the 2nd time we've visited. The staff are always completely lovely- cant fault them at all. The food is very good value for money, especially the daily specials. It was quite a quiet night for a Friday, given the chilly wet weather, but the acoustics in the main area (inside restaurant) were very good for me, as sometimes I find noisy places overwhelming to my senses, especially after a long week. We will happily return. Thank you

We recently held a function here and had a great experience. The staff were so helpful and easy to deal with when planning and organising the event. The venue is beautiful and I loved the food and drinks. We had lots of comments from our guests about the relaxing atmosphere and amazing food platters. We will definitely be back!

We visited Valley Social for the first time on Mother's Day where a group of us sat down for the Boho Picnic. The grounds were beautiful, the picnic setting was very well done. The food and drinks was excellent (the hemp beer a favourite), and lots of it. We must also thank the lovely staff, nothing was too much for them to do. We thoroughly recommend and will be visiting again.

Thanks for a wonderful Mother’s Day Luncheon, as always our families thoroughly enjoyed every aspect, atmosphere, food, beverages, service, ambience, location, Valley Social and staff never fail to satisfy, as our local, we are lucky to take advantage of weeknight specials, (parmi and steak nights ideal for our bottomless athletic teen “who orders 2 meals”) … beautiful location, well worth a drive from any suburb midweek not just weekends. Beautiful grounds and spacious restaurant, so much so, we never feel overcrowded, packed in or rushed.
. We have Never experienced long wait times either

Loved it! First time visiting tonight and it was very warm and welcoming customer service, we ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was delicious and didn’t have to wait long at all considering it was very busy so we will definitely be back for more!

One of the most dissapointing meals i've had in a fair while. Had the Valley Nachos with burnt ends. Had seen a friends plate last year, thick fresh guac, big dollops of sour cream and generous serve of burnt ends, looked great and thought i need to try, well it seems i waited too long, what i got was thin store style guac like cheap avo dip scantily delivered from a squeezy bottle, same with the sour cream, wouldnt call what i had burnt ends, just a few bits of brisket offcuts, the missus was nearly as much fat as meat, bean mix was ok but not really the generous portions i remember all held down by a wad of congealed cheese in the middle i needed a knife and fork to be able to eat. Only plus was the corn chips were crisp. If i wasn't hungry cos i hadnt eaten since brekky in anticipation i might have just left it, not quite innedible, but certainly not enjoyable. And when someone finally came past to clear table after watching staff standing around for half an hour there did not seem to be any concern when we mentioned all this.

Very dissapointing, dont think i'll be coming back any time soon, and certainly not recomending to anyone.

Was very quiet for a Sunday evening

Came as a group for a birthday and they kept bringing out half of our orders then staff would argue with us. Spent so much money as a group and we’re getting stingy over missing cocktails. Ended up getting cut off for wanting the drinks that we had paid for. Poor service from the bar staff and the manager who dealt with us. Definitely lost 20 customers today.

We visited a new brew house,? ? ? ? ? ? ? , for a catch up with friends and to sample their menu. New owners have occupied the former Elmer's in the Valley, with a new fresh feel.

The Valley Social has a variety of spaces with a modern contemporary feel - the main bar overlooking the dining area, the Spirit Lounge, an outdoor alfresco area as well as large grassed spaces with picnic tables, deck chairs and beanbags.

Their menu has a American BBQ vibe including ribs, burgers, BBQ boards, Mac n cheese, corn ribs and corn bread.

Our selections tonight were -
Panko chicken schnitzel
Beer battered fish
Pulled pork smoked BBQ board
Pork knuckle (special of the day)
Buttermilk fried chicken
Cauliflower
Fries
And for dessert -
Hot fudge sundae
Key lime pie

Unfortunately the night we visited there was quite a wait between mains being served and although tasty, the pork knuckle was quite dry. Maybe just a few opening issues that need ironing out.

Me and my fam ordered food at 1 pm and we received food about 3: 12pm which we literally waited for 2 hours to get our food, very dissapointing service.

Super disappointed when we called in here at lunchtime on a beautiful Sunday. The restaurant was half empty and looked and smelled amazing. We waited at the sign that said please wait to be seated and were told that they didn’t take walk ins. Not that they were fully booked or that they would check if there was space…. (there were LOTS of empty tables) There was only 2 of us so feel a bit let down that the signage out the front didn’t say bookings only.

What a joke! Came in for a drink and lunch. Placed an order at 12: 30 with no advice that there would be a wait. Simple food a pizza, chips and corn ribs. Pizza arrived to table at 3pm. Fries at 3: 10 and corn 3: 20. The corn was soaked in vinegar. No apologies for the wait just dumped on the table. If this is their performance then we won’t be back.

Good food, a little bit sweet for me but high standard dishes.
Staff were so polite and courteous.
Health bowl was too sweet which I did not like.
