Ultra Tune Belmont

Wish I'd started coming to these guys years ago. Same quality work but for less cost than going to a major dealership mechanic. Above and beyond customer service too!

I have often driven past U. T. Belmont, for at least 16 years but never went there as I never needed mechanical work, having older simpler cars that I could do myself. But having just bought a VE Commodore V8 and being somewhat bewildered by the high tech complexity and computer controlled nature of these vehicles, I went in and had a chat. Both the owner Perry and workshop manager, Tom were there and they were extremely helpful and giving of their time, being a Thurs almost at closing time and I had very good vibes from the staff as I explained what I (thought) I needed with this car.

So because of this I ended up booking it in then and there for various checks (which I should have got before I bought it).

It was only about 3 or 4 working days later when there was a spot available so I brought it in and gave the book-in clerk a list of things I wanted checked. It's also right at a bus stop, so it was so easy to get there and back home by public transport!

I was called before any work was carried out to confirm it was to my satisfaction and this included required replacement of some front sway bar end link bushes (common with this model). The cost was also confirmed prior and because it was so reasonable, I asked the fellow, "yes, but how much is the total with all the other checks? " And he said that that was it - the total price. So I was extremely impressed overall and when I went and picked it up, was given a whole page of what was checked, including a test drive and work c/o.

From what I have gathered the experience levels of the staff are very high and the place is also physically quite impressively large. I will have no hesitation in getting more work done there as it comes up, and recommend Ultra Tune Belmont highly.

Experience # 2:

A month or so later I enquired about getting the 6 speed auto serviced on my VE 6.0L V8. The Auto had only been serviced once in its life and that was just after I bought it. (by another place). I spoke again to the workshop manager Tom, with my ideas for getting the fluid nice and clean but he suggested a better way would be to get a full flush using their (what I assume) was a state-of-the-art machine for just this purpose. Wasn't exactly cheap however compared to my suggestion it was more economical (and sensible!) would give a better result.

I'm so glad I went ahead with this process. Tom assured me the process went well and personally test drove the car himself and was very happy with the performance. Having driven the car for a month now and it shifts like a dream. I have much more confidence now that the auto will last longer and be more reliable with a full complement of fresh ATF in it.

I was very happy with my car service. Very friendly staff member communicated to me what repairs needed to be done before proceeding and car was completed on time and at agreed price. I will continue to use this company for ongoing car servicing as I was very pleased with the service.

Customer Service really needs to be improved, the arrogance of their service people is truly disgusting.

Absolute scam, 400% mark up on parts is an abysmal way to conduct business. To justify it by saying "that's just how we run our business" is disgusting.furthermore, after getting an independent inspection from RAC, none of the work quoted was correct. What an absolute rip off.

Always look after me. They go the extra mile and have even fixed small things that weren't part of the original issue but never give me bill shock. And absolute pleasure to deal with.

Got my car booked in very fast. Repair was fast, called me throughout the whole process about what was wrong and talked me though what they needed to do to fix if.

I have had my car serviced with Ultra-tune a few times and recently had my car battery changed.

The service was great and I had my car back to me in no time. Dan updated me regularly and was very professional in communicating everything I needed to know about my car.

This review is well over due, just thought of writing cus I found your business card around early 2017, I had a sudden issue with my $950 ford laser and I pulled over to this Ultra Tune as it was almost closing time personnel had left home. The manager Jason Holmes helped me out and did not charge me for a 10 min job, which essentially rescued me and got me home safely. He could have charged me 'cus of his knowledge, time and tools he used. I was an international student at the time making ends meet. I'm making good money now and helping other people 'cus I do remember how I felt when you helped me out that day. Oh and I upgraded to a $1900 car may you and your business go well.

Always had good honest service. Not pushy and writes up things as requested not forcing extra sales.

Car was starting to squeak whenever I drove it, was going to go with my local mechanic but decided to search for one closer to work.

Reluctant to try a new mechanic, I stumbled across Ultra Tune Belmont and was impressed with the reviews, so gave them a shot.

Quote for the job was prompt and upfront, customer service was amazing. Car was running back to normal in no time.

OMG what a experience - Allan the manager threw my parts on the floor and such a rude behavior i never experience in any other places in my life.i'm speech less with their action and at the end i have to trade my car to get new car. Car was undrivable after the repair! They said parts not available so they couldnt fix or return to me as it was.im shocked.moreover they charge me even its not fixed. God bless the service centre.

Absolute legends work at this service centre. I originally took my car here because it was close to my work but now I take it because they are the only ones I would trust. They’ve found multiple ongoing issues that other mechanics were unable to diagnose and are always able to schedule me in promptly when required. I now service both my cars here and they treat it as if I were to do it myself; with care.
