Tokyo Underground reviews
51 The staff was absolutely warm and welcoming. Also very accommodating.
It's awesome to see Ponyo merchandises in there. So many great selections!
Highly recommend to go and check it out. Only regret I had is I didn’t come back before the end of my vacation
They have a really good selection of anime merchandise for very reasonable prices. Also, staff are super kind and friendly- I was going to purchase some stickers from them but they let me have them for free! Definitely the best place in Perth for anime merch.
Came here last year with the girlfriend before covid hit. Walked in no hello or greeting nothing. Looked around and pretty meh didn't this place use to be Freaks and Geeks? Anyway your better off going to your local MiYU Japan store
This place is bad, basically just full of stickers and phone accessories now, it used to be really great, it used to have heaps of manga and DVD's and figures (mainly bootleg) but now it's just not worth the time climbing the stairs.
I used to love this store until I went and the staff weren’t inviting or friendly, and I realised I’d seen many of the plush offered here before at Minitopia! For almost half price! I feel like I’ve been cheated and that other customers have been ripped off as well. Very disappointed, won’t be returning.
It's a cool place with lots of manga and anime sort of stuff. The place is actually on the second floor so not quite underground but that dousent matter.
Always a great place to buy anime stickers. I always go here to buy my stickers for my diarys or cards or anything really. The lady that runs the store is super lovely and they also have some great anime stuff there. Definitely recommend to anyone who is a fan of anime and manga! They also have moolong, gudetama and other stuff there as well.
Wonderful family owned and run store full of an awesome mix of fun and eclectic toys, collectables, music, art and generally interesting items from all areas of pop culture. Absolutely worth the time to visit if you're in the CBD.
Really nice place! There's always a huge range of stock (especially in bnha, ghibli and haikyuu items), and for a great price! It's one of the only good weeb stores in the area, so while there might be a few people in the store at a time, it's visited pretty frequently so make sure to get some stuff while you can. (though they restock as often as they can, given the current circumstances) Staff are great btw! Also bring friends ik from experience that its fun fangirling over haikyuu posters together
Lovely staff and has a wide rang of anime products. I got a lot of haikyuu stuff from there as well! Definitely recommend visiting this shop.
Really love this place, a great spot to buy little presents for manga/anime lovers. The lady running the place is very pleasant and helpful.
Located at the 1st flour of a shop house, this place sells things anime and it's surely for anyone who is into anime, manga and japanese kawai stuffs but choices and varieties are very limited.
All though its mainly bootleg stuff its a nice little shop
The display takes up way to much room cause no one can buy them.posters are cheap but it is stolen art I'm not fussed with it.you can get Pokemon cards is well would recommend it even just to look around also do you sell any nekoparA stuff?
Advertised gunpla, they had like 20 kits built on display and 3 kits for sale only. 2/3 had already been sold as well. Why bother showing people something if you don't sell it. Bizzare.
It is not what it used to be especially if you're looking into anime and hoping to find figures. The range is almost nonexistent now with only few dragon ball items and some pop vinyl. No one piece items which i think is a loss considering the population or fan base of the said manga. Though the range is more promising towards the comics and pop culture plus records too
Very Nice owner great store but those stairs are a pain to gwt up lol i buy posters the 50c stickers figures once again great store
This place is so good for anime needs. I love there postcards, they’re so cute. I very much recommend this store so all anime lovers COME HERE!
Ahhh I love this store so much! I'm regular who normally goes in and buys a lot of posters/badges/etc from time to time. Made me super happy to see the stock branch out a little further recently! (Seeing the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure posters and the new keychains made my day a few days ago! Hoping to see more!) I would definitely recommend this store to lots of people.:)
Awful store. 0 stock on hand. Only order in now due to space? Looks like plenty of space to me, the place is huge. Service was also terrible. The woman could not have cared any less about anything. Never ever going back and letting everyone know to avoid this place.
Though the shop is difficult to notice from the street, once you go up the stairs the place is large enough. There are two sections. The first hall that you enter has classical english music related memorablia: books, CDs, clothes, posters and musical instruments. The next room has Pokemon and Anime toys. There are also model cars and hard to find hotwheels cars and motorcycles. They are a bit pricey though.
