Threepence Cafe Bakery reviews
53Best little bakery and cafe around, I try to go by every chance I get when I'm working from home
There are many brunch meal option to choose from. I ordered veg sh#t, I was not expecting to sh#t myself after finding several chili slices in my plate. Maybe I missed the chili bits from reading the menu. I was sweating from the chili heat and hot weather at same time.
The coffee is pretty good.
I would recommend to fry the halloumi to crispy instead just putting chunks of pieces on the plate.
Overall, it is enjoyable meal.
I had better brunch somewhere else with the same price in Perth, Eastern coast and UK.
So, I will give it 3 stars.
Always good food and coffee. Friendly service. My only wish is the owners change the outdoor seating to something consistent and user friendly. Still worth five stars!
I love absolutely everything about this cafe, the funky vibe, the gorgeous staff, the amazing food and great ambience, such a lovely place to go for a yummy lunch or just a fab coffee and one of their delicious cakes. Highly recommend!:)
Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice location as there aren't many other cafes in the area. We tried the mango and carrot juice which was refreshing and really nice. The ham and cheese croissants were amazing! Beautiful, fresh and crusty pastry with a beautiful cheese that you don't see normally in croissants. Will definitely be back!
My first time here, came highly recommended by my son and his wife. Also my first time trying coffee made on almond milk, I loved it, I'll be back.
We ventured from NoR to try this quaint and funky local gem in Hammond Park. We ordered the steak sandwich served with sourdough bread and chips and the Green Lovers (We forgot to take a photo of this). They were served a short time after ordering, were very well plated using fresh ingredients and the portions are pretty generous, that we struggled to finish our meals, but because the food was that delicious, we had to finish it…. Even though we were full, we got a bit greedy and we couldn’t have come all this way without trying the bakery specialities, so we ordered coffee macarons and chocolate fudge which were made by one of the owners. Both treats were to die for.
The food is certainly made with pride and love and the owners are very friendly!
Definitely worth the drive. See you again soon!
Quite a small place, they had some outdoor seating, but shade wasn't set up on a hot sunny morning, so we opted to sit inside.
Coffees were pretty good $4 for a small, which was enough in size.
I got the tortilla chicken with eggs (pictured) which I really liked - I think it was around $18.
My fiance got the chicken waffles, the chicken was great, but she mentioned the waffle was overdone and hard to cut.
Location was just in the middle of a suburb with not much else around and staff were pretty friendly.
Great friendly service and waitress was extremely helpful despite the cafe being busy. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
Menu is varied and all dishes look delicious.
Both of us ordered the avocado stack with bacon, it was served quickly and was a large portion.
Delicious food and great coffee, definitely will be our local from now on.
Excellent coffee, trying not to be addicted but failing!
Staff always friendly and yummy food (esp the smashed chilli avo)
Very thankful for a family owned cafe close to home!
First time we tried the cafe on a drive down south and it's safe to say it'll be our regular stop off from now on! Great coffee and delicious food. We got takeaway and ordered the most boring thing on the menu too (bacon and egg rolls) so I can only imagine the menu food is even better. I saw it being brought out and it looked amazing. They have the biggest menu of specialty lattes I've ever seen, will have to try one next time. I'm so glad we happened to find it as it's in a nothing residential area. Ten out of ten, we will be back for sure!
The staff are really nice especially the younger ones. The barista is supburb and always makes a deliscious coffee leaving us always inclined to come back. The food was just as exceptional. Really happy to see a small business like this grow
