First time here for lunch today and was really impressed! The staff were excellent, the food was delicious and the servings are enormous. The venue atmosphere was great, will definitely be back, highly recommend this place.

Terrible customer service. More worried about setting tables than focusing on seated customers at the tables. Got served a bland caramel milkshake that tasted like a glass of full cream milk without a straw. When I had asked the server for a straw she said she didn't have one. When I said "Well I simply can't drink a MILKSHAKE without a straw she replied saying okay I'll get you one" If contradiction was a person wow. What a sloppy experience. Definitely lost my respect for this place who expect you to drink a drink without a straw. PAPER STRAWS ARE A THING these days if you are going for the environmental approach. Customers are humans not animals. Please treat us as such

Lovely place to eat, steak cooked perfectly with friendly staff that are willing to make your experience as pleasant as possible

Delicious food. The kids love love love the pizza. The seafood is delicious. The pasta is to so good. Definitely will be back.

The old adage is true: first impressions count.

My husband and I came here for the first time and upon walking in I had thought, 'what lovely atmosphere'. But that was very quickly soured by the service of the waiters.
We had waited over 30 mins for our food before we asked the waiter "Excuse me, just wondering if our food is coming soon? ".
The response we were provided: "Well you came in after all these people" (gesturing to many other tables still waiting for their food whilst giving us a 'smile'), and then walked away.
We waited a further 15 minutes in utter shock that THAT was the response we received by this mature aged man that we decided to have our food to go (which still hadn't come out) because who wants to sit in a restaurant where service is not a priority.
We went to the counter to request for our food to be taken away as we had to leave, making no complaints about the wait time OR the service that had left a bad taste in our mouths, and we were met with this response by a mature aged lady:
"Well it's a Friday night, and you didn't tell us you were in a rush. So you know, waiting 30 mins has to be expected".

Apparently their staff have an ALL EXCUSES mentality.

P.s. Food was bland, threw the prawns out as they tasted questionable.
Only thing good was the margherita pizza.

We are regulars here, and we always enjoy our food. The pizza chef needs a pat on the back his pizza and garlic bread are fantastic. $20 pasta pizza night on a Wednesday is a must, the bolognase is very flavourful and the chef is obliging In doing other pasta instead of gnocchi if you ask. The staff are extremely hard working and very helpful. Love the outside back bar and the overall facilities are very good. Certainly bringing people into the area from afar which is great for Kalamunda. Keep up the great work!

Takeaway was so disappointing the pizza's had nothing on it.seafood was stale absolutely no taste and the garlic bread was a joke!

Nice place. Happy staff and generous, well presented meals with lots of choice. Classic pizza, pasta and all the usual mains. Enjoyed ourselves

Very good place and atmosphere. The staff were very accommodating to my large group. However, prices are quite high for food.

It was very nice inside, friendly helpful staff. The food we had was very nice, the only disappointment was with the Garlic bread. I had Garlic Prawns they were lovely. Dessert Tiramasu, was very nice. I would visit again.

It's nice to support a local business. We recently dined at The Vault and enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly service. Our antipasti and pizza were delicious, only slight disappointments were the 3 pasta dishes our table ordered.pasta under-salted & soft & sugo a bit watery.just some feedback for the kitchen. We'll happily return again for the pizza!

Had the pleasure of a spontaneous dinner here Thursday night. Sat out on the balcony. We each had a special - steak, pasta and pizza. My duck ragu was amazing with fresh pasta, my dad's pizza was the best wood fired pizza I've tasted (fabulous fresh dough and proper soft mozzarella) and my brother assured me his steak was perfect with fresh thyme and pepper sauce. Great service.

Rotten. 1.5 hours and just got dinner. Food and staff lovely but never coming back. Was recommended but I'll be providing feedback. Very disappointed customer.

It was ok. Once seated it took a long time to get any sort of service, this included just a bottle of water for the table. Once we recieved served, the waiter was lovely and food and drinks were out in a flash. Food was nice but nothing special. I left a little disappointed.

Food is exceptional, right in the heart of Kalamunda. Pricing is great. We probably ordered too much food, but everything was eaten. Loved it. Service is great too.

This was such an amazing place to eat. The service was excellent and the food tasted like home made. I will certainly be recommending this to others and I will be back.

Will be giving this place a miss. Food was seriously over priced and bland is the most complementary thing I can say. The pumpkin risotto had wet sloppy pumpkin and no flavour, the creamy mushroom pasta was undercooked and bland. This was the third time we had given this place a chance and each time we left disappointed. So no more for us. I dis contact them privately to provide feedback before this public review, they didn’t even bother responding. There are plenty of other great places to eat around Kalamunda don't bother here.

Everything is nice. We ordered garlic bread, ravioli, steak, Siciliana pizza, mushroom pappardelle, gamberi pizza and the rocket and pear salad. Finished off with creme brulee and cannoli

We had 5 different people waiting our table of 2 people. One asked if we'd like to order dinner whilst we were looking at the desert menu. No one asked how our meals were or if we'd like black pepper. The mushroom pasta was bland with only cream and cheese and was missing any flavour, no herbs or black pepper and the lemon and lime tart lacked flavour and tasted like cold custard. Very disappointing meal. Wont return.

Overpriced for average quality. Slow service just so they can sell more drinks. Embers better value and way better only a few minutes down the road.
