We came here for the winelist which is absolutely stunning bit too big for anybody to study on one night.
Not many wine lists offer a Romanee Conti for 7850$. However none if the wines came with a date on the list!
So we all must agree that there is a big difference between a 2021 Chardonnay and a 2017.needs updates
The view is lovely.
Thus place is very crowded and loud. Mire a local yacht club pub for rich people in slippers than a romantic sunset fine dining, even though prices suggest different.
Oysters went impressed
All meals were rather tried hard and well executed. Copied flavours and not too original
400$ later I can say, I'm glad I went so I can explain why I won't be back.

Stunning Location. All food was faultless. We went for lunch. I have no photos, but everything that everyone on our table had was amazing. Fresh juices were $9 each but so delicious, my main of pasta with blue swimmer crab was a standout, as was the buttermilk chicken, market fish, sirloin, salted cod croquettes amongst other items were all amazingly delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try their breakfast menu. Wouldn’t say our server was the most friendliest but the food will make us go back

Had Boxing Day evening meal at 6pm on 40+° day. No aircon made it very uncomfortable but it was just one of those extraordinary circumstances. Felt so sorry for staff & kitchen wearing masks who did a very good job with services. Food very nice. Will definately go again when weather more pleasant.

Unexpectedly long waits for service, with plenty of staff on and constantly walking past.
Staff were pleasant but un attentive. Would of got another bottle of champagne but was not approached.

Outstanding- every aspect from starter's to dessert.

The service was so poor. We sat for ages waiting to order. Then after the food came (it was average) we wished to order more coffees. Staff ignored us until we were told that we had to leave for lunch bookings. There were lots of staff on the floor but not at all helpful or hospitable.

Love coming here the menu changes and is always fantastic. I had the WA ABROLHOS SCALLOPS, OMG!

Thought this was place snobby and the food wasn't that good. It's a place to be seen and has a nice view if that's you're thing. Unfortunately wasn't mine

Great decor, stunning views, good service and best of all the food was delicious. The main serving was a little small but more than made up for it in taste. The dessert was one of the best I've had.ever. 9 times out of 10 I walk away from restaurants unimpressed but not this time. Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere and vibes. Drinks list will spoil you with choice. The food is decent, however trying the duck fat potatoes, assumed they would be crispy and golden but instead came out like they were boiled. Service was spectacular.

Lovely venue and a view to die for. Unfortunately being vegan, The Shorehouse hasn't moved with the times. I could have ordered a seafood linguini without the seafood for $29 (with nothing to replace the seafood!) or what I actually ordered, which was a plate of cauliflower for $26 and side plate of veggies for $16. It's disappointing when a restaurant doesn't offer one dedicated vegan dish and instead charges you $42 for veggies. I know not to come back here as there are so many great vegan options available elsewhere.

Came to the Shorehouse for a long, leisurely Sunday lunch. It was superb. The setting is perfect, overlooking the sea with cool breezes wafting in from the beach.

The food was excellent. Every mouthful. We had the scallops and the salted cod croquettes for starters. And the swimmer crab linguine and the pork scotch fillet for mains. Wow. Delicious.

The Forest Hill Riesling was a perfect accompaniment.

Annual breakfast for a large family group (10) again this morning food great service exceptional - individualised service for a family member running late thank you - can’t recommend more highly

Great friendly experience with staff a joy. Food fits the bill of Italian simple, fresh but stunning and always feel especially welcome in this environment.

Terrible, no takeaway, although that was the condition when they knocked down the old kiosk. Knock down The Shore house and bring back the charming old one.

I was very disappointed, I found the menu werid, and nothing too my fansy.
Worse crispy potato's I've had

I booked a table last night for my wife's Birthday "she love this place' we dine here often so I requested a table by the window.
They gave us the last table in the restaurant in a tiny corner which was still ok because the view was good and the place was busy, the waiter served as the water and no one come to check on us for 30 minutes, after 15 minutes we started to look around and wonder why no one came to our table, they totally forget about us after 10 minutes my wife went to the door to check if someone was around no one looked at here or checked at her,
she came back to the table and the situation started to be very frustrating, it was her birthday and they ruined it
when finally after 35 minutes the waiter noticed us, she tried to explain the frustration but he straight away stopped her like 'its ok let me fix this' but unfortunately was to late she wanted to leave
and yes we walked away!

Incredible food, views, service, drinks, everything. I will go back when I'm back in town and recommend to all my friends and family. A touch exxy, but absolutely worth it.
