The Sebel East Perth reviews
48Ideally located amidst a selection of waterfront cafes, bars and restaurants, well appointed rooms with amazing views of the river and Cove below, friendly and attentive staff, perfect for access to stadiums and concerts
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place.we paid extra for the “river view” and was deeply disappointed when I opened the window to have a massive tree completely blanketing everything, such a waste.
You have to pay extra for parking, and twice now I’ve been put into the “overflow” car park, which is 250 metres from my room. So we would average about 1.5kms per day of walking just to get to the car.
The rooms are definitely just basic, something you would not pay $315 per night (accounting for the added parking fee).
The only positive was the bed was decently comfortable.and that’s it.
Great spot, friendly staff, clean room with a great view and a really comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
I called up tonight to enquire in regards to the on-site parking and if porta cots were available and I was answered from the most incredible staff member Scott! I received the BEST customer service from him. He was so caring and we had a great chat! This has been the best customer service that I've had in years and it was only a phone call! I cant wait for mine and my kids little getaway tomorrow night because Scott has already made our trip before even stepping photo in the door. The sebel must be so happy to have a staff member like him. Thank you so much Scott
The room was good. Disappointed I paid extra for a river view which I did not get and to get to the pool you either walked along the road or the board walk. This part of East Perth is beautiful.
Very comfy beds, clean, on waterfront, pretty area and 5 mins walk to Swan river. Near lots of cafes etc.
Great welcome at reception on arrival.
We had a river view studio room. It was clean and had a pleasant outlook, but the air-conditioning exhaust ran through our balcony and this was noisy early in the morning.
It doesn't have a restaurant, but there are plenty nearby.
Although it has a basic kitchenette, there isn't enough room for a table or chairs
The service was great and rooms clean and tidy. So many choices of cafes close by and a casual 15 min walk to Perth Stadium. Definitely would stay again.
Nothing to discuss Mandy, besides you kicking out a customer who paid prior to hoping on a plane from another state on a 40 degree day, I ended up staying at Sebel West PERTH just proves to show it wasn’t company policy but yours
Great place to stay. Staff are great, very friendly. Rooms are modern and spacious. Gym is a good size and the pool overlooks East Perth.
Fantastic location. Large rooms with kitchenette. Walking distance to the Optus Stadium. Friendly reception and hotel parking available for $30 a day.
Staff were very polite, location is amazing right near the river and lovely restaurants. Room was clean and cozy
Great place to stay for short or long periods.
Great location on the river and close to the city cbd
Great place, located near Swan river, great view, unfortunately does not have a cafe or restaurant but there are a few good eateries near the place
I absolutely love this place. Rooms are clean and modern. Staff are all very friendly. House staff that do rooms are just a hoot, so friendly as well. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. Close to a myriad of restaurants and eateries. Convenience store over the road, bottleshop super close by. When can I come back?
My two brothers, my dad and myself booked two rooms in the Sebel Hotel in Perth for two days. To put it in a nutshell, we left the hotel after one night as the beds were uncomfortable, the air condition either did not work or blew cold air directly into the face of our senior dad who became sick afterwards. Even worse, it was not possible to get a decent night sleep as a loud machine was making noise outside the windows.
I cannot encourage anyone booking this accommodation.
Very over priced for such a basic hotel. $250 a night and room cleaning is only offered once every three days. Terrible WiFi.
I've stayed at the Sebel a number of times. It's reasonably priced (for Perth.) The location is hard to beat! The little bay, restaurants, cafés, bars are all great quality and right outside the door. Lots of options for walks and sightseeing. The new stadium and pedestrian bridge are right around the corner. Walk to the casino in about 20 minutes (briskly.) The service staff are lovely, make me feel very welcome. I recommend it.
Great location. It is a serviced apartment though, not a hotel so be aware of that. Avoid rooms 514 & 515 as there is a noisy exhaust fan above the balconies.
Easy distance to the city and great location to walk to the stadium for the footy. Really enjoyed the local cafe's and restaurants that surround the Sebel
