The Provincial

We are working out of Geraldton and have people coming in and out of the Ocean View Hotel all the time. The Provisional with its great share plates, drinka and good service have a reputation across the company as the place to go for dinner. It is a place that beats the Perth metro places as its has the friendly country service with first class food.

The food was great, the service was friendly and attentive and the whole vibe of the venue was fun yet casual.

I wish I could rate it a million stars cause this place makes the best pizza in all of Geraldton!

Total disaster from a young waitress who couldn't explain how to use the electronic menu and being told we could split the bill at the end to finding out at the end that this was not the case and the person who only had a small drink and small meal had then to share the cost of the big drinkers and bigger meals. Will not go back again

I used to work here almost 10 years ago, had our wedding here 8yrs ago and came back recently for dinner.still amazing! Pizza's are bangin!

Excellent vibe. Staff are a standard out. Cocktails are well done and the food is to be raved about. Brilliant GF options.

Went for dinner with work colleagues. It was a very enjoyable evening. Very relaxed atmosphere. Some of the meals are a little on the pricey side but as they say if you enjoy the food you haven't overpaid. I ordered the Sri Lankan Fish Curry. Very tasty dish and the prefect serving size. Will definitely eat here again

My favourite pizza of all time was found in this little joint. Never would I have thought pear, pork and mustard would go together so well on a pizza!

steak was very reasonably priced for how good it was, service was great too.
(I recommend ordering via the bar as its faster.)

Poor attitude of the management team.
I would give 0 star as unimpressed with communication with staff members.

My accomodation at Geraldton doesn't do evening meals.
So I ordered food via the PROVTOGO website & had my food delivered directly to my hotel room at the time chosen by me - too easy.

I chose 2x BaoBuns, panko crumbed whiting and salad, delicious & delivered by a friendly young lady.

I had the option of charging my account at the hotel or paying directly.

Went there on Saturday night. The atmosphere was good. The food was mixed. The pizza was good however the steak I ordered was really poor. I would recommend anyone going there orders pizza.

Caught up with friends for some food and a couple of drinks. Busy but everything came out in good time and was tasty. Thanks to the Prov team!

Went there on a Thursday night and these poor guys were so busy. However, they were very welcoming and were working very hard. The food was amazing and so worth the wait. The waitperson who served demonstrated great hospitality and apologised for the wait but really once the food came, I didn't care lol It was awesome and everything was just right. Well done guys and thanks.

Great food and service. Great atmosphere (A nice change from Geraldton). The app used to order is a great idea. Highly recommend if passing through Geraldton. You will usually need to book a table.

Nice atmosphere but very overpriced food for what it is. Limited wine list by the glass for a wine bar.

Really cool place, well done Gero! Popped in early-ish on a Saturday with no booking and were seated near the front bar; agreed to leave before 8 as the table was reserved. The menu and ordering app is easy to use, but we wanted to split the payment so ordered at the counter instead. Well-priced pizzas with many topping options, and yum! Decent wine by the glass only $9. The staff were cool, patient and friendly and there were LOTS of staff, which I love to see. If you want a quieter dining experience, book for the front room, as I noticed that the back room was a bit louder, but lots of atmosphere. Great that the menu is available online so you can check it out before you go.

Food is ALWAYS top quality, service is fast and friendly and their cocktails are really top shelf quality. I have tried many things on their menu with highlights being their fish curry, and Asian dishes. The app is very user friendly and my only criticism would be that they need better heating out the back during winter.it was really hard to relax and enjoy my food while I was freezing cold

Always love the provincial. You can order food and drinks through your app to your table or go to the bar with cash. If you order through app you build points to get $$ rewards

Wow stumbled on this quirky place, lovely food, great atmosphere, reasonable prices, great staff a definite go to place when I'm Geraldton.
