The Palace Arcade - Northbridge

Fun place, enjoyed playing some old games from my past. Lots of choices at the bar and the pizzas are HUGE.

Excellent place to go the atmosphere is relaxing and the games take you back to 1980's Time Zone, yet it has a Bar which is excellent, food is Quirky, Pizza, Fried foods, purchase a card and you can play those games and eat and drink by the card or just pay normally. Not a Bad gig for all ages!

Came here with my family and we had a amazing time! It was awesome to play the good ol classic arcade games and enjoy some delicious food!

Ruined our date night. Played the car rally game and the wheel literally came off and cut half way down my nail. How did they handle it? Oh sorry here's a bandaid. It was hurting so much and bleeding that I didn't want to play anymore so we asked to refund the amount left on our card only to be told sorry not possible and left standing there while the guy hurried off. Nothing was noted down about someone getting injured on one of their games. Left me very upset.

One of the best venues around. Great concept, great vibe, great staff and great selection of drinks. We will definitely be back again soon!

Props to the bar staff who on an already busy Saturday night, seemlessly co ordinated our group. Those guys work hard all night and somehow remain to be the friendliest, most patient people. Thank you Palace Arcade

Amazing place. Has a huge variety of old school consoles, food was fantastic. Pizzas are definitely worth it

Look it's not my thing. The games are pretty limited (though thats obvs their clique). Food gets a tick. Alcomahol gets a tick, staff are friendly but is this a place I would go out of the way to get to on a Friday? Unfortunately no.

Pinballs, video games, beer and pizza. What more would you want? This venue is more than meets the eye with a whole basement also full of games. The bar is comprehensive and the staff approachable and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our two outings there. A really good team building venue.

Absolutely appalling service. We first uploaded $100 on a card. It was advertised on a board in the bar this would give us 20 free games. This was not the case and when we scanned the card on a game it would take more money off. When discussing this with a female staff member she snapped it wasn't actually taking the money it will stop at $80.
As we continued on the games kept charging us aswell as when you would scan to play a game it would take the money but not start. This continued throughout the night until we gave up and decided to spend our remaining credits on cocktails.

Service was fine to begin with. When we received our cocktails we shared one another's. Our cocktails where in very small glasses. Hence we finished our first in 5/10 minutes as they were so delicious. We decided to order another each and take a seat. When we ordered we where told by a young male that we have to wait 5 minutes as we sculled our last drinks? ! We said oh okay.and waited. Numerous staff tried to serve us in this time and we said we will wait. We where then forced into ordering by the same female who we originally dealt with when our game card was charging is incorrectly. We told her we will wait, she then said no it's okay order now. Once our cocktails where made and paid for the young lady then said very loudly across to us at the bar "by the way you can not order another drink for a while and if you scull them again I WONT BE AS NICE THIS TIME".

This is appalling service, even in the case (which it wasn't) of her following responsible service of alcohol there is NO reason to make sarcastic comments and belittle customers.

We will never be returning.

Our pizza slices were large and delish! Great variety of arcade games. Stoked that they had Point Blank and Time Crisis Shout out to Cam (hope I got his name right but he was one of the managers) for the service. Such a cool fun dude

When I first went to the Palace Arcade I thought it was amazing, despite the old dusty smell. However, unfortunately over the last few years they have cut down the amount of games by 2/3’s. The dusty smell remains. It’s still a good place to have a few drinks but if you are going for the games it’s no longer worth the visit.

Nice variety of arcade games. Great selection of food and drink. Not many non-alcoholic options so be wary if this is an issue. Otherwise, a great place to have a night of fun with mates.

Great pub in the evening for a few drinks and a few games and friendly for kids in the day. A few of the games need do some maintenance though, we controls don't function properly. Still a banging good time though

This place is great, good food, good atmosphere and lovely staff. Plenty of retro games to play. A great night out here cheers.

Great food, and an old school gamey vibe. I'm not cool enough for this place, but I'm still down for an 80s timezone with booze.

Main floor is accessible, appeared to only have stairs downstairs (more games down there). Bathroom is also a few stairs up
