The Palace Arcade - Northbridge reviews
40A lot of fun - some of the machines are starting to show their age a bit (loose joysticks, non-responsive buttons) but I always have a good time.
The service was amazing my group had a great time staff were great specially Spencer, Pablo and Rochelle made sure we had the best night
Great place with amazing atmosphere, a must visit when in Perth!
Shout-out Eddy the bartender, makes a killer red frog grog
Nice variety of games. Unfortunately many of them were in various states of disrepair making them semi unplayable. Most had the sound turned right down or off which detracted from the arcade experience. Was looking forward to playing the pinball machines and was disappointed by issues with sticking flippers and buttons. The ACDC didn't even have a working plunger. For a place that makes you preload a card you feel a bit robbed.
It's a shame their pinball machines are so poorly maintained with many being unplayable but otherwise the venue, atmosphere and beers are great.
Says open till 2am on the weekend and closes at 12: 50 and wouldn’t server more drinks after 12: 30 on a weekend really fake advertising and bad service
Good pizza, good drink choice, open till late, and games to play.
Mac and cheese bacon bites are amazing.
Yummy food and decent selection of beer. Plus unlimited games on a Wednesday! Took me back to my childhood.
We had our work Christmas function here and it didn't disappoint. The wristbands and the game credit cards made everything so easy. The food was delicious with heaps of veggie options and the cocktails were delicious. The main standout was the staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and made our event such a plasure to attend. Thanks again - we will be back:)
Gotta fix/service the machines guys, a good like 40% of the machines had issues with the controls and the light gun games need to be fixed as they are almost unplayable.
Nice unique experience and a great setting for our work Xmas party. There is more to do than sit around and drink (which you can also do).
I organised a work social club function here and couldn't fault it! The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the games were fun (so were the drinks!).
Awesome Buffalo wings and pizza, good fun on the games, buck Hunter probably needs an upgrade to big Buck hd or the guns and screens to be fixed, vintage Street fighter and Sega Rally were lots of fun
Pretty cool venue, some of the machines could use a service especially the fighting games where buttons and sticks are pretty bad. Overall tho I figure people are here to drink more so than the games. Food is fantastic, pizzas were great and the ice cream sandwich was soooo good, 8/10 would visit again.
Rude and predatory security guards that bullied my friends and I. Very disappointing, I had high expectations and they where ruined the moment I stepped in. Do not recommend.
Great atmosphere. I really enjoyed the food and there are some really nice cocktails too. Friendly staff, always willing to help out. Some of the arcade machines have bad controllers, which is understandable as they are 20+years old, so it might be better to select player 2 if you play to get the best experience.
Amazing pub to have a good time and remember old games from back in the days! Pac-Man, Street fighter, and many more. Great spot in the city for drinks! We'll definitely keep coming ️
The whole idea of this concept is great, but the execution and ongoing maintenance of machines is lacking, we visit Perth a few times a year and enjoy visiting the Northbridge location.just recently visited with an old mate but finding certain machines not working properly or working at all, the one biggest gripe of all however is why are the volumes of games turned right down and modern music drowning out the atmosphere, if you going to run a retro themed bar how's about running with the actual idea.just saying
I had a party at Palace Arcade last week. Fantastic hosts, great pizza and everyone had a blast. Thank you:)
