The Packing Shed @ Lawnbrook reviews
39 Bruce and Rebecca were incredibly welcoming. Such a warm environment with excellent quality products. Oh, please try the award winning Australian Limoncello!
Bruce had patience and knowledge for our energetic group. I learned so much today. Thank you The Packing Shed!
Lovely winters afternoon.
Great food and atmosphere, it was cozy and warm, would have been great if the fireplace was going, just for the visual aspect
A very rare and beautiful place! Awesome & friendly staff. Great food. Didn't want to come back from that valley. Love it!
5 stars for friendliness and environment. We had the bruschetta, everything but the chunky cold tomatoes were really lovely. The chips were yummy as well.
There was a blip in delivering the food but once recognised was very quickly rectified.
I went in with half an hour to go on the harvest weekend Sunday. Staff were really welcoming at the cellar Door. Bought some Gin and Red Wine. Both yum!
Great meals well priced for Perth plus the friendly family service this weekend was excellent. A really lovely spot.
Brilliant place. Tucked away in the hills but what a spectacular place for lunch. Good servings of food. Well priced and great service.
Gorgeous location for lunch today with rolling hills backdrop. The food was great and the staff friendly and courteous. It was chilly in the beautiful outdoor setting when the clouds came in so it was a lovely treat they have blankets to wrap around yourself. Will definately be back.
The surroundings were amazing, the customer service was great. We only had coffees and cake however, so can't comment much on their menu.
A delightful lunch with pleasant beverages. The setting is idyllic and even though it was busy, the peace and quiet surrounds you.
Tricky to find the turn off but that's part of the fun.
We called into the Packing Shed today, a lovely Autumn day. We didn't realise that it is still essential to book way in advance
The lady that met us at the restaurant door explained that we could have a cheese platter or a table inside if we wanted the full menu.
As it was such a beautiful day, we said we didn't want to sit inside but would think about the platter.
As we were looking at leaving, she came out and told us that she had spoken to the chef and that we could have the full menu if we order within 10 minutes. We took her up on her offer and had a couple of very tasty meals in beautiful surroundings.
Thank you so much for going above and beyond, it was greatly appreciated
Beautifully locationed in the Bickley Valley,
the Packing Shed is always a delight to visit. The food is fresh and delicious. The owners are supportive of local producers and growers where possible. This is a family run business that also supports the local youth with employment and training. Do forget to try their superb wines and hand crafted gin. You won't be disappointed.
Absolutely beautiful location with delicious food & great wine. Management were very friendly & accomodating for our private function. I can highly recommend the packing shed for a fabulous all round experience!
On a mini wine tasting outing last weekend we dropped into Lawnbrook Winery. Such a beautiful location and grounds. The owner was lovely as was the gin ;) It was a wonderful wine tasting experience -who needs Margaret River for quality WA wines? Hoping to return soon to enjoy lunch at the Packing Shed.:)
Beautiful location and a full range of excellent wines. The tempranillo is hard to beat.
Service on the tastings was exceptional.
We called today and were told - yes they may serve us lunch if we come a little early. I so appreciate an organised kitchen that spreads out the load to give a good service to everyone during busy times.
The food was yummy, innovative, fresh, well presented, served with a smile and plenty. The pork fennel roll could have seen a little more fennel and spice to be perfect. The quiche was heaven and for the chips I will travel. Everything looked and tasted fresh prepared from scratch. We will be back.
Love the packing shed. Been here several times with my kids. Staff are always delightful and the menu yummy although it needs more gluten free mains.
The setting is a amazing, rolling valleys, hills.
It's hard to believe that this is just a few kilometres out of Perth.
Had a super briskit roll. It was delicious
Mother's day outing at Bickley Valley in Perth Hill. Enjoy the late Autumn season with a beautiful weather in Perth. We were having coffee break in afternoon at The Packing Shed @ Lawnbrook. Great place for coffee and beautiful surrounding. Friendly services with indoor and outdoor sitting.
We booked last minute and managed to get a table inside. Outside is definitely the prized position because the scenery is gorgeous. It is a classic tin roof shed in a beautiful field of green grass and trees.
It was a busy day and the kitchen was under the pump but the wonderful Manager (owner?) brought my 3 year old his kids platter as quickly as possible because he was hungry. I ordered the Lawbrook cheese burger and chips. It was amazing. My husband ordered the spiced pumpkin arancini and the pork and fennel sausage roll. They were also delicious. The Tempranillo was a perfect pairing for lunch.
It was great to see the renovated restaurant was still there 25 years after I first came. Though the sticky date pudding was not on the menu, there was plenty to make up for it.
The service was wonderful, the food was wonderful and the wine was great. We will come back with the extended family but this time we will book to take advantage of the beautiful scenery in the outdoor dining area.
