Sorry to say but this hair salon has to be the worst experience ever. Bad service, the haircut was a joke. The timing was ridiculous (they kept me waiting around forever) I left this salon with a headache from the stress i had there. Worst colour I've ever had - please it's an insult to charge what they did for the service received. The staff are unfriendly and an awful atmosphere. I would never return to this salon even if they offered me a free service. They are desperate for customers and I see why.

I absolutely love coming to the Nest, have been a regular client for over a year and have had nothing but positive experiences. Very welcoming, relaxed vibe with really friendly and helpful hairdressers. Most importantly, I always leave with flawless hair. They are the only salon that is able to get my blonde hair Perfect every time

I am from Melbourne who has recently moved to Perth and was struggling to find a good hairdresser. It was my first experience at Nest Boutique and they were amazing. I had Stevie and she was incredible. She listened and understood exactly what I wanted. Did the best blonde and I absolutely love it. Highly recommend Stevie and the salon. Love the little snacks and drinks they offer. This will now be my regular and I’m so happy.

I have been to the nest a couple of times now. I can't comment on the colouring as I only go for cuts. I love this place. All of the girls are lovely and I've been super happy with my hair cut each time. Love the decor inside. Feels like a little pamper session with the wash, coffee, blow dry, cut and curls/styling.:)

I was very impressed with the atmosphere of this salon (it seems weird to be complimenting that since what really matters is the hair treatment, and that is obviously top tier) - from the clever upcycled doors to the calming lighting to the development room where you can just chill and have a mimosa and lollies on the couch, it was really different to any other salon I've been to (and I'm a bit of a shopper when it comes to that.) All the girls are friendly and easy to talk to (and know what they're doing, most importantly) and there was just so much detail and effort put into everything. Also, the entire salon smells beautiful - it was like a day at the spa/Willy Wonka's factory. I can proudly say that I've found my regular. Thanks to Steevie Lou for taking my gross blonde regret hair back to soft healthy brunette - it suits my colouring so much more and heaps of people have been like "look I didn't want to say anything about the blonde but darker looks better". Big fan!

Shocked and appauled by their service. Received very rude messages whilst making general inquiries. Tried to support a local business and this is what happened. Pathetic.

Was really happy with my hair and was really well looked after. Price is on the high side but you get what you pay for in this joint.

This place is amazing. You are pampered and well looked after and the staff really know their stuff. I went in there with a very vague idea of what I wanted and couldn't be happier with how my hair turned out. It was an amazing experience!

Little hide away hair dressers, open door to proffesional accomplished staff. I feel a little pampered when I’m off to see them.

You can't fault The Nest ️ Probably the most aesthetically pleasing salon you'll ever go to. All the girls are so sweet and make the best cocktails. Kayleigh has me falling in love with my hair every time!

Took me a long time to find the right hairdresser. I found The Nest Boutique over a year ago now and have not looked back.

As much as I wanted to enjoy my experience, unfortunately i didn't. The first time i went, my hair turned out too blonde and then the second time i went back to fix it, it was a bit dark. That didn't matter anyway as a majority of the hair colour came out after one wash and now it's back to being too blonde and I am left with overly processed bits in my hair. Its a shame as my hairdresser was very sweet and friendly.

Curiously, I also tried to post this review on their website a while ago but it hasn't appeared.

It was a friendly experience, the staff were nice but I booked online for the “$255 Nest knows best package” knowing the price may vary depending on length of hair and products but this would be disclosed if the price was going to go over. After talking with the staff and what she thought would be best everything was all good went ahead and god my hair done, wasn’t until I was done and and the counter paying that I got out they had changed it to the “lighter and brighter package cost $380! ”. I wouldn’t have minded if it was a $20/40 difference but not disclosing a $130 difference has definitely put me off going back or recommending it to friends. I barely have shoulder length hair and went from blonde to blonde. 2 and a half stars.

Best hairdresser in Perth - incredible attention to detail and superb customer service, not to mention delicious red wine.

Beautiful salon with exceptional service, my only negative was when I went to pay instead of the $315 that had been quoted in the email after I paid the deposit my total came to $359. When I queried this I was told “an extra scoop of lightener had been used”, it would be nice in future to be told about such additions during the service to avoid bill shock at the end. So a service advertised as costing 365 ended up being $409.

What an amazing experience! Elke showed her expert skills by transforming a very bad hair situation into something beautiful. It was my first visit and she was able to save my hair (messed up at another salon). Her colour skills and knowledge was something else and now I am able to enjoy and love my hair again. For some, paying a booking deposit is off-putting and prices may seem high but you get the full value back, you have to try it to believe me. The salon has a beautiful vibe and the ladies won't let you walk out without being 100% satisfied. The salon experience is also outstanding, quirky and well presented and not to mention a drinks menu and snacks while you wait those long minutes for colour to develop lol. I would highly recommend The Nest Hair Boutique to all ladies who appreciate and value a great hairdo.

I came in today as a hair model for Elizabeth, and what a lovely experience! Not only was it a relaxing and pampering morning out, but my colour looks fantastic. Amazing! Charlie knows blondes so well:) If you just let her work her magic and trust that she knows best you will leave this salon very happy with many many compliments from friends, housemates even the boyfriend noticed my pretty mermaid hair! I will never go anywhere else now that I have discvovered this adorable and charming boutique salon with delicous red wine and the best head massage i've ever had! Don't ever retire ;) My hair needs you!
