The owner & staff were all amazing! I can't wait to go back. I was so happy with my hair colouring results. Milly did an awesome job on my root fade & did a beautiful blowdry/set to finish off my look. Haven't been so happy with my hair in a long time.

The colour, trim and experience all round was incredible. The girls make such amazing coffees (and cocktails I hear) and there’s so many yummy nibbles in the chill out area. From the moment you step into the salon, it’s five star pampering.

Recieved abusive text messages when I decided to cancel my appointment from Charlie, the owner. The receptionist didnt understand what I was saying her communication skills where lacking and as a result the tyraide of texts. I would definatrly NEVER recommend this salon to anyone, you should be ashamed yourselves!

My first go at becoming blonde at 59 was beyond belief.
I had heart palpitations.
I couldn't recognise myself.
I was told in my 20s I could never be blonde because of some hair test.
They removed box dye and gave me natural blonde hair.
I look 20 years younger.

Cocktails, beautiful salon, a velvet lounge to wait for your hair rather that staying in the chair all day, friendly staff, and expert hairdressers who know what they are doing! Best hair dressing experience I have had and will definitely be back

There is no denying the salon and staff itself are amazing. It's beautifully designed, and they treat you well. Having said that, you are paying for a hair treatment at the end of the day, and to pay over $300 for a colour that washes out in 2 weeks, that's just not good enough - especially when you know that your hair has held colour fine in the past, and you aren't told during the appointment that there's any issues with the colour you are going - especially when it's close to your natural colour. Disappointing in the quality of the end result. It's a shame, because it's a nice place. But I have tried this place a few times, for different things - and never get a lasting result. Third time was not a charm, so I won't be back. If a salon can't achieve a better result than box dye - that's a no from me.

I went in not sure of what I wanted done with my tired old style. The stylist talked me through my options. Steevie gave me ideas I hadn’t thought of. I walked out feeling a million dollars with a fantastic cut and new colour. I have had so many comments on my flattering new style. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely love The Nest. I've been through Steevie twice now and I am never turning back! The service is wonderful and I was surprised how Steevie remembered me and what we talked about the second time I came in (considering how busy she would be). I've never had that experience with a hairdresser before and I am more than impressed! And don't get me started on how Steevie absolutely delivers every time! She has given me the exact colour and style I was looking for and I always feel great walking out. Thank you Steevie & The Nest, you guys are awesome! <3

Had my colour done which resulted in me needing a follow up appointment to have it fixed.
At the 2nd appointment my request still wasn't met yet was really simple. Instead my hair was pretty much destroyed and looked 100x worse to the point I've been quoted $400 elsewhere for a colour correction to fix the mess that was made.
At my 2nd appointment my colour was only done 'here and there' so not too much product was used, no toner was used on my highlights and i was stained with purple conditioner.
The hair at the front of my face where I had highlights done is also breaking and snapping because the foils were left in for so long.
I've been told I will receive a refund but I haven't yet and nobody has bothered to reply to my emails or contact me even though this was discussed with the owner on the day of my 2nd appointment.
Definitely not my favourite colour salon, I have nothing nice to say and I won't be back.

Very calm environment. Lovely staff! The products are all so gentle on your skin and hair too. No nasty ammonia making it hard to breathe or making your eyes sting and your skin burn! Such an effortless and pleasant experience and they totally nailed the colour.

This place is absolute heaven. I went there for haircut and I am completely in love with how I look after the haircut. The girl name is Chantelle (am sorry if I spelled it incorrectly), she knew what I wanted and did a fantastic job on my hairs. Thank you so much Chantelle. Will surely visit you guys soon again.
