Great coffee, great atmosphere and service. What can I say, the Neighbourhood deserves its popularity.

Service lacking, food soaked in oil and felt crook rest of day, not as expected, new owners maybe, disappointed.

TERRIBLE FOOD, SLOW SERVICE
Have only ever written one negative review about an eatery before and the experience has to be atrocious for it to warrant one from me.

Four of us dined here for lunch on Monday 31st May 2021. They did not appear to be busy, however we waited 50 mins to be eventually served, after a prompt, thinking they had forgotten us.

The meals comprised chicken tacos, macha pancakes, a burger and a meal which included chorizo. The tacos were dry and sparse with warm chicken served with cold dressing and cold wraps. The chorizo was luke- warm, served whole, slightly cooked on the outside and uncooked in the middle. We asked if the chorizo could be sliced and cooked a little more, however by the time the chorizo was eventually returned, we had all almost finished our meals. The burger and macha pancakes were also very ordinary.

Not sure if, being a Monday, the regular chef was not on duty, however we would never take the risk and frequent this place again.

Amazing! Also love the late night bottle shop part of Neighbourhood Kitchen! The owner recommends such good wine every time. You must drop by and have a tasting! Delicious!

Very disappointed with my experiences at this cafe. The staff are consistently rude and abrasive and the food is mediocre. I thought I would give the staff the benefit of the doubt but each time has left me feeling unwelcome and dissatisfied.

Disappointing breaky today. Coffee was okay. But gluten-free toast was sold to us over the phone as Strange Grains but was actually cardboard supermarket bread from the shop next door. Only after we complained did the cafe fess up, saying SG failed to deliver during Christmas week. The girl I complained to had a poor attitude too. "well I didn't make the bread so I don't know". Cafe management just smiled and apologised. Won't return.

Wonderful service, I ordered the wrong thing and it was totally my fault, the staff took it back with a smile and completely understood. I had my eggs benny returned as eggs hollandaise in all its glory very quickly. The food and coffee were great too! This place has a great atmosphere and I appreciate the understanding service, I'll be back for sure!

Really Nice Cafe that you can bring your dogs down to! A short walk from the Attadale Foreshore with delicious food, coffee and dog treats! Outside sitting area as well as inside, usually a little busy but there are friendly and efficient staff that get your food to you very quickly! The food is delicious and the coffees are amazing, thanks so much for a lovely experience!

Bought Chicken & avocado + pumpkin and caramelized onions wraps $9 each. I had the pumpkin wrap. I found it to be filling; I ate half of the wrap before putting the rest in the fridge. Be nice with some nuts (cashews, walnuts) or pepitas or sunflower for crunchy texture and cracked pepper.

Great food at reasonable prices. I had the zucchini, mint and pea fritters (pictured) with corn puree and feta, and added on chorizo for $5. The fritters weren't quite what I expected (I was imagining something more like grated zucchini moulded into pancakes?) but were tasty nevertheless. My friend had the Benny stack (also pictured) with pork belly, potato rosti, spinach, poached eggs and sriracha mayo which she also enjoyed. There is ample parking and it's sufficiently spacious inside for prams. Would happily return.

A great little corner restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice, spacious and modern. The food is good and the staff is great. They have a good wine selection.

Excellent seating for large groups here without the usual frowns and musical chairs movement by staff you see in smaller places. Great food choices! Excellent service. Funky decor.

A delightful surprise, was The Neighbourhood on the 17th of February. Warm welcome, efficient table arrangement (six of us), lots of patience with our order. Extra butter with a smile. Food was good. Waitress was really professional – can’t recall her name (petite with a tan? If known, pass on compliments from all of us). They looked after the kids really well too. We’ll be back soon.

We stumbled upon this jem for Sunday breakfast. With two kids and four adults. The service was outstanding, very accommodating, prompt and courteous. The coffee and food were excellent. We are looking forward to trying out their wine list next time. Thanks for making our day.

Nice cafe in Attadale. Great service, menu and coffee. They also have a wine bar attached to the cafe. Fantastic local venue.

Went for a friday breakfast with a group of 5 others, arrived before the crowd, yet still waited 30 mins for coffee, which was surprisingly nice.
The menu sounds amazing, and I’m sure if executed well, would taste amazing. Unfortunately for us, undercooked scrambled eggs, dry/cold bread (the charcoal bun is a travesty), dry tastless pulled pork (thank goodness for the sriracha mayo), and the cardinal sin of breakfast - hard poached eggs.
Food was also very slow, which we wouldn’t have minded if it was fabulous.
The decor is nice, the location is good, the idea is there, but it just doesn’t come together. Nice coffee isn’t enough to bring me back.

Nice little spot for coffee and staff were lovely. A bit disappointed in the food - didn't quite understand the concept of their take on Spanish eggs. Very oily. Friend enjoyed her pasta though. Food took a while to come out.
