The Lucky Shag reviews
40Nice spot. Customer service can do with improvements. Menu is limited and very pricy for what u get. I don’t mind paying for great food but I’d the price is on the high side you really need to deliver.
Very nice place, it was extremely busy today, difficulty in finding a table! Service was great, food was excellent, will definitely return!
Great food and excellent river views - perfect place to spend a nice lovely evening with beautiful views!
Strainge night on my last vist. Not my favourite place, mainly because its normally ao crowded. Staff were very weird and asking several people to leave, from different groups. I was confused.
Nice spot close to the water. Perfect for a summers day lunch. Food decent and drinks not too badly priced.
Great fish and chips. The beer selection was quite nice too. But the best part was the outdoor seating.
This place is good but unfortunately they are building onto it which will destroy the whole atmosphere
A must visit for us when in Perth. Good sports bar, wide beer & cider selection. Food also very good but what's going to happen when the monstrous high rise building work immediately next to the Shag is completed?
Amazingly LOUD. The umbrellas and the decking bounce the sound around. You'll need to shout to be heard. Good drink selection, service ok, unimpressive menu though.
Waterfront bar overlooking the swan river. View is looking west away from the Elizabeth Quay. Surrounding construction provides shelter from wind. Upstairs has uninterrupted views. Great for an afternoon bevvie or 2
Wanted the seafood platter but it wasn't available. Frustrating when you are set on a meal and have to change. Ordered the steak and it was really nice.
Outdoor area now shadowed in shade from surrounding buildinga. Indoor seating area was barricaded off. Not over friendly.
Great location. But live music on Sunday afternoon (lunch time) was too loud to be able to talk to / hear your companion. Nice meals though.
Bar staff that treat you like children. Won’t allow you to have shots, 15 minutes ‘time-out’ for a birthday party where they wouldn’t serve us any Booz. We had a group of 12.
Amazing Location, Top quality bites and great atmosphere. It’s a must do when in Perth! With lovely bar staff making you feel very welcomed.
Treated us rudely after $2000 worth of food and drinks. Discarded us like scum on the bottom of your shoe. Disgraceful display of hospitality. Very disappointed with the service. Don't spend money here.
Great waterside spot. The top floor area gives amazing views. Best place to have a drink on a summers day in Perth
One of Perths well know places down on Barrack Street Jetty by the Bell Tower. Been here many times and will keep coming back. Amazing location on the water with great pub grub for any occasion. They have live music on weekends too to create a great atmosphere for catch ups. Always a good time here
Good range of beers on tap but kind of expensive; food was not bad, but not great either. Location would be good on a warm night.
Pretty disappointing food especially for the price tag, chips in a bag is extremely tacky. The sources that came with the chips cheap tasting tomato sauce and very poor tasting aioli. The pumpkin pizza was ok but it was really lacking toppings at $24, I'd like to say you're paying for a view but with the construction going on next door you really aren't.
