40Pulled beef Nachos where awsome, waited a while for them but was worth it, great atmosphere and killer spot
A must visit for anyone. Food, views, atmosphere are all top notch
We got the mussels (best Ive had in years)
Also the thai beef strips, very tasty.
We had a few drinks as well.
Perfect stop for drinks and a great feed overlooking the water and South Perth.
Great vibe with plenty of beers on tap & a pretty good food selection on offer.
Outdoor deck on the water is the popular location but you can also dine inside if you wish.
Great spot on the waterfront. The meals are massive and the beer cold. What more could you want. The Nachos could feed an army and be warned the have a kick.
Top spot to catch up and eat a dab meal to top it up.
Will come back with an army to prove my point
Over the years I have organised dozens of social club gatherings and the like, big and small. I've never had a bad night here. Food is great, everything is reasonably priced and always friendly staff and enough of them too.
Go in confidence, this is a great spot, central easy to get to via public transport. Too easy:)
Been here for dinner with my friends. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks. The ambience was beautiful too with lovely staffs.
I booked this place for my 21st birthday and it was truly so so good. Nicole was the manager on that night and her and the whole team made sure everything was so great all night! Great food and great drinks
Don’t order a chicken parmigiana.
Location is great. Outside area had a great vibe on the waterfront. Food was below average. Ordered a classic chicken parmigiana. The crumbs were burnt ie black. Brought this up to a wait staff member and then subsequently a manger, about halfway through meal. Apparently all parmys are served this way. Didn’t buy managers reasoning. Was offered a free drink or dessert to remedy’s, not even a replacement meal. At that point we were ready to move on. Would recommend a pub close by called the island brew house. The same if not better vibes on the water, better service and food.
It’s a great location & a really good atmosphere. A perfect pub to enjoy a drink with a view but the food is terrible. Last night we ordered the squid which was quite honestly disgusting & the chicken parmigiana which was just ok but really bad chips. I’ve been here many times for drinks & will definitely come back again but don’t order the food
Came in for couple drinks and felt peckish.tried the chilli mussels.didn't dissapoint! ! Fresh tasty and filling. Now this is will by my go to when I have the craving!
Not bad, beautiful spot and the food was quite good for pub grub. One of the bar staff was a little surly and disinterested (monday-itis maybe), when I asked a question and the table we sat at was beer-sticky and didn't get wiped, so that's reason for reduced stars. Otherwise, we will still return, but not our no. 1 choice.
A nice bar built on the Swan River. With the outside deck aria over the water, it is lovely on a hot day.
I have always enjoyed this place but have not been for a while. Every thing is now looking worn out, the bar staff are unfriendly and the reuben sandwich I had was a tasteless burnt offering. Won't bother going back.
We had dinner during the week. Big plate of nachos and 2 Coronas for $24.00.my wife bought the Chicken Parmigiana was $26.00. Truly beautiful food.
Great place to meet up, we were there for the football so Leeds United had pretty much taken over the place. Awesome atmosphere.
Drinks were good, nice and cold. We ordered pizza and a bag of chips, the bag was massive and they were tasty.
They have daily offers on food and drink too.
It's in a lovely location with a large outdoor area, with heaters for night time.
The Lucky Shag was a great place to go for a Thursday lunch. There $15 chilli mussels and glass of wine, was amazing
Food was pretty average. Contacted stuff and they "apologized" nice enough place for a beer I guess but there's not a lot else around there
Great location. That's what the 2 stars are for. But the manager needs to get off their high horse power trip. Just remember YOU are serving customers. She's looks 24 years old with no idea how to run a bar and when things get above her mental capacity just kick everyone out. As I said when you can't communicate with customers you can't just stop serving the customer because you can't communicate correctly. Maybe a course in customer service and management would be a good start.
I have been going here for years and the service here has been a mixed bag. And like the other reviewers suggested, the security is very strict and treat the place like a night club even during the day. Now with all the new options at Elizabeth Quay there is less and less of a reason to end up at the Lucky Shag.
